Capítulo 138: CXXXVIII: invite the king over

He smiled when she raised her head. He approached her with a pleased smile as though he was looking at a treasure.

He raised his hand and moved it to her cheeks sliding his fingers in a feathery touch to her chin.

All the hairs in her body rose but she remained on that spot with the smile forcefully lifting the corners of her lips.

"You look especially beautiful this night," he whispered as he stepped closer to her.

He removed his hand from her face and turned to the coach man with a comfortable smile.

"You should return to the palace. I will stay with my mate overnight," he ordered the man. "Return to pick me up tomorrow morning after you eat breakfast."

"You . . . Uhm . . ." she began to advise him to leave but his lips covered hers in a deep kiss that made her shiver at the shock it gave her.

He pulled away and licked his lips with a pleased smile.
