Capítulo 98: XCVIII: his effect on her

From its original white color, it gradually turned darker until it became a very light shade of lilac.

She moved her fingers in very slow motions and the thread of lights connected to them moved along.

She took in a deep breath and made an attempt to unwind. She was experiencing a lot of mental stress now coupled with the fact that the Oracle herself warned people about her.

She moved her gaze from her fingers to the man in front of her who now wore a worried look.

She inhaled deeply like the Oracle taught her several days ago. She closed her eyes and tried to make it stop.

"Stop it please," she pleaded inwardly. She opened her eyes to check if it was still there and it had gotten brighter despite its darkened color.

Her heart began racing fast as she made an attempt to place her feet on the ground successful but she made no progress with that.
