Ash grabbed another Pokéball from his belt and threw it into the air with a swift motion. "Blastoise, I choose you!"
The Pokéball burst open, and from its core emerged the massive form of Blastoise. The crowd erupted into cheers as the water-type Pokémon landed heavily on the battlefield, its cannons gleaming in the sunlight.
"And Ash brings out Blastoise! This battle is heating up, folks!" James exclaimed, the excitement in his voice echoing through the stadium.
Blastoise stepped forward, twisting sideways, leaning forward, its right cannon aimed directly at Victreebell. "Blastoise, Ice Beam!" Ash shouted.
Blastoise's cannon glowed with a chilling white light before firing a beam of pure, freezing energy towards Victreebell. Rex's eyes widened in alarm. "Victreebell, move!"
But Victreebell, too injured from its previous battles, couldn't react in time. The Ice Beam struck it directly, the freezing energy encasing it in ice and slamming it into the shimmering translucent wall. The impact was thunderous, and the crowd gasped.
The referee raised a flag. "Victreebell is unable to battle, Blastoise is the winner!"
The crowd erupted into a mix of cheers and gasps, the unexpected turn of events sending ripples of excitement through the stadium. James's voice cut through the noise. "What an upset! For the first time, Rex has lost two of his Pokémon! This is truly anyone's game now!"
Rex recalled Victreebell to its Pokéball, a determined smile on his face. "You did great, Victreebell. Rest now." He looked across the battlefield at Ash, admiration and respect in his eyes.
Ash returned the look, his determination unwavering. "bring it, Rex."
Rex nodded, then pulled another Pokéball from his belt. "It's time to change the game," he murmured, tossing the Pokéball into the air. "Mewtwo!"
The Pokéball burst open, and from the blinding light emerged Mewtwo, its form imposing and its presence undeniable. The crowd fell into a stunned silence, the sheer power of the legendary Pokémon radiating across the battlefield.
"And there it is, folks! The mysterious Mewtwo!" James exclaimed, his voice barely audible over the renewed roar of the crowd.
Blastoise took a step back, its eyes narrowing as it assessed its new opponent. Mewtwo hovered above the battlefield, its eyes glowing with a fierce intensity.
"Blastoise, use Hydro Pump!" Ash commanded, his voice steady.
Blastoise's cannons fired powerful jets of water towards Mewtwo, the streams cutting through the air with incredible force.
"Mewtwo, Teleport!" Rex called out. In an instant, Mewtwo vanished, reappearing behind Blastoise with blinding speed. "Now, use Shadow Ball!"
Mewtwo's hands glowed with dark energy as it formed a ball of shadowy power, hurling it towards Blastoise. The attack struck with devastating force, sending Blastoise skidding across the battlefield.
"Blastoise, get up and use Ice Beam!" Ash shouted.
Blastoise gave a ferocious grin and rolled sideways onto all four, its cannon glowing with icy energy as it fired two beams towards Mewtwo.
"Mewtwo, Reflect!" Rex countered. A shimmering barrier formed in front of Mewtwo, deflecting the Ice Beam harmlessly to the side.
The crowd watched in awe as the two powerful Pokémon clashed, their attacks creating a dazzling display of light and energy. James's voice cut through the noise. "This is an incredible battle, folks! Both trainers are pulling out all the stops!"
"Blastoise, use Skull Bash!" Ash commanded, his voice filled with determination.
Blastoise gripped the earth and tucked its head into its shell before launching towards Mewtwo with incredible speed.
"Mewtwo, use Psychic!" Rex shouted.
Mewtwo's eyes glowed with a fierce blue light as it unleashed a wave of psychic energy, stopping Blastoise in its tracks and lifting it into the air. With a flick of its wrist, Mewtwo sent Blastoise crashing back down to the ground.
The crowd gasped as Blastoise roared in pain. Ash's eyes were filled with resolve. "Blastoise, one more Hydro Pump!"
Blastoise spun on its back, flicking its feet out and generating enough momentum to flick itself upright, cannons glowing once more, firing powerful jets of water towards Mewtwo.
"Mewtwo, finish it with Aura Sphere!" Rex commanded.
Mewtwo formed a glowing ball of blue energy in its hands, hurling it towards the two columns of water. The Aura Sphere struck with unerring accuracy, the explosion of energy sending both Pokemon tumbling across the battlefield.
Faced with the wall of steam, Rex arched a brow, "One more Aura Sphere."
Mewtwo clapped its hands together; Separating them, arcs of lightning snaked between its fingers as a large blue sphere sizzled with power. Like a cannonball, it fired into the steam, hurtling towards its hidden target.
"It's time, Blastoise! Hydro Bash!" Ash yelled. A low growl echoed from the shrouded forest as a large shell shot up, splitting the steam cloud in two. The crowd gasped as they watched two massive columns of water shoot from Blastoise's cannons, using the force as propulsion.
"But it's not safe! Close behind it, the Aura Sphere is hurtling towards Blastoise!" James exclaimed, the tension palpable in his voice. Blastoise shot towards Mewtwo at blinding speed, the Aura Sphere closing in fast.
Watching the incoming turtle-turned-projectile, Rex chuckled. "Mewtwo, Shadow Ball."
The psychic Pokémon raised its palm towards Blastoise, a black ball of energy forming rapidly before shooting forward.
"NOW, Blastoise!" Ash yelled, a wild smile on his face that unsettled Rex. Everyone watched in shock as Blastoise's propulsion was cut off. From the hole where its tail was, another beam of water shot out, stopping its forward movement. Then, a third jet of water erupted from its leg, sending it shooting upwards abruptly, causing the incoming Aura Sphere and Shadow Ball to collide in an explosion that rocked the stadium.
James's voice rang out over the din, "Unbelievable! Blastoise's manoeuvring has caused the two attacks to collide, creating a massive explosion!"
Rex watched this with fascination, his eyes wide and sparkling. "Fascinating," he mumbled. "Mewtwo, Gravity."
Instantly, a wave of pressure descended on the battlefield, causing the gears holding it up to creak furiously. Like a meteor, Blastoise imminent approach changed directions and took a nose dive, crashing into the earth, unable to resist the immense gravitational force. The impact was monumental, sending debris flying and leaving a crater where Blastoise landed.
The crowd gasped in shock, the intensity of the battle leaving them breathless. "What a move by Rex! The battlefield is under immense pressure!" James shouted, the tension in his voice adding to the electrifying atmosphere.
Blastoise struggled to rise, its body trembling from the sheer force of the impact. Ash's face was a mix of determination and concern as he watched his Pokémon fight to stand. It took a moment, a breath... before it finally fell.
"And there we have it folks! Blastoise has been grounded under Mewtwo's overwhelming Gravity!!" James's disbelieving voice echoed through the stadium, the crowd's reaction a mix of awe and admiration.
Rex's eyes gleamed with respect for Ash's strategy. 'You've pushed me harder than anyone, Ash. Let's see how you handle this,' he thought.
Ash clenched his fists and took a deep breath before pulling out another Pokéball. "Blastoise, you did great. Rest now," he whispered, recalling his fallen Pokémon. He looked across the battlefield at Rex, their mutual respect palpable. "Go, Snorlax!"
With a swift motion, Ash hurled the Pokéball into the air. It burst open in a flash of light, and the massive form of Snorlax emerged, landing with a resounding thud that shook the ground. The crowd erupted into cheers, their excitement reaching a fever pitch.
"And now, Ash sends out Snorlax! This battle is far from over!" James exclaimed, his voice filled with enthusiasm. "How will Rex's Mewtwo handle this behemoth?"
Snorlax stretched lazily, its eyes locking onto Mewtwo with a surprisingly focused intensity. Rex's expression remained calm but intrigued. "Mewtwo, use Psystrike!"
Mewtwo's eyes glowed with a fierce blue light as it formed a sphere of psychic energy, hurling it towards Snorlax. The attack struck Snorlax directly, causing a ripple of energy to spread across its massive body, but nothing more.
Rex along with the audience stared with mouths agape.
"Snorlax, shake it off and use Body Slam!" Ash commanded with a smile. Snorlax roared, its immense weight propelling it forward as it launched itself at Mewtwo.
"Mewtwo, Teleport!" Rex countered. In an instant, Mewtwo vanished, reappearing behind Snorlax just as it crashed into the ground, creating a shockwave that shook the battlefield.
"Snorlax, Hyper Beam!" Ash shouted, his voice echoing through the stadium. Snorlax, still face down, opened its mouth, gathering a massive amount of energy before unleashing a devastating beam that carved deep into the stadium.
The power was enough to push it up into a standing position before Snorlax toppled onto its back, the beam tracing a line across the face of the translucent shield and finally lancing towards its opponent.
"Mewtwo, use Protect!" Rex called out, his lips twitching furiously at the clumsy yet devastating show of power. A shimmering barrier formed around Mewtwo, deflecting the Hyper Beam and sending it crashing into the ground, creating an explosion of dust and debris.
The crowd gasped, their eyes glued to the battlefield. "Wh-What an incredible exchange!" James struggled to speak, his eyelid twitching angrily until he slapped a hand over his eye. "Both trainers are pulling out all the stops!"
"Snorlax, use Earthquake!" Ash commanded. Snorlax, on his back, slammed its massive arms against the ground, sending shockwaves through the battlefield. The ground cracked and shifted, causing Mewtwo to lose its footing.
"Mewtwo, Levitate!" Rex countered. Mewtwo's eyes glowed, lifting itself above the trembling ground. "Now, use Aura Sphere!"
Mewtwo formed another sphere of blue energy, launching it towards Snorlax. The attack struck Snorlax, yet it did little more than anger it into standing up.
"Snorlax, use Giga Impact!" Ash shouted. Snorlax roared, its body glowing with a fierce light as it charged towards Mewtwo with incredible speed.
"Mewtwo, use Psychic to stop it!" Rex called out. Mewtwo's eyes glowed with an intense blue light, and a wave of psychic energy enveloped Snorlax, slowing its charge. But Snorlax pushed through, its sheer force breaking through Mewtwo's psychic hold.
The impact was monumental, sending Mewtwo flying across the battlefield. The crowd erupted into deafening cheers, the stadium shaking with the force of their excitement.
"And Snorlax breaks through Mewtwo's Psychic! What an incredible display of power!" James shouted, his voice barely audible over the roaring crowd.
Mewtwo slid down the translucent wall and landed on wobbly knees, its body trembling from the impact. Rex's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with strategies. "Mewtwo, use Recover!"
Mewtwo's body glowed with soothing light, its large green-black bruises healing as it regained its strength. The crowd watched in awe, the tension in the stadium palpable.
"Snorlax, don't let up! Use Ice Punch!" Ash commanded. Snorlax's fist glowed with a chilling blue light as its shadow swallowed Mewtwo, bringing it down with untold wrath.
"Mewtwo, counter with Focus Blast!" Rex shouted. Mewtwo formed a sphere of concentrated energy, launching it towards Snorlax just as it swung its icy fist.
The two attacks collided, creating a massive explosion that sent shockwaves through the battlefield. The crowd gasped, their eyes wide with anticipation.
When the dust settled, Snorlax scratched its tummy as it looked around for Mewtwo who now hovered in front of Rex.
"And the battle continues! But how will Mewtwo break through this impenetrable wall?!" James exclaimed, his voice filled with excitement.
Ash and Rex locked eyes, their mutual respect and determination clear. "Let's finish this, Snorlax!" Ash shouted, his voice filled with unwavering resolve.
"Give it everything you've got, Mewtwo!" Rex called out, his eyes gleaming with determination.
The crowd's cheers reached a fever pitch as the two trainers prepared for the final clash, the electrifying atmosphere of the stadium filled with the promise of an unforgettable battle.
