"Who the hell saved her?!!"
Inside his closed office, Jeremy could explode at the face of his minion, Chris, as much as he wanted.
His face was all red with veins popping up from his neck. He was on the verge of exploding if Chris didn't give him an answer.
"Well..." Chris seemed afraid of his master, "I revised the cameras and nothing showed anything inside the park."
"Are you telling me she killed all those elite vampires alone?" Jeremy slammed his fist hard on his desk while moving fast towards Chris. He grabbed his minion from his collar before ruthlessly adding:
"Even I can't do it! James isn't just a nobody! I can't take him with his special team."
"Gulp!" Chris swallowed his saliva with much difficulty while his face turned ashen white from fear. "Everything points towards her. There was no one else besides a mere human."
"A human? Is that the best you can say?" Jeremy pushed Chris to the side and made him fall. He didn't give him another glance while gazing up at the big slogan of his family.
A werewolf stood erect while howling in pride and anger. Its claws were drenched in the blood of his enemies. And his enemies were from all races.
"I can't believe it! How come she survived this?!" he was still deeply shocked and infuriated by this. "Go and see what happened from our eyes inside that vampire clan."
"S... Sure," Chris hurriedly stood up and was about to leave. He wanted to escape here at any cost or else his life would be in great danger.
He knew exactly how ruthless his master could be, even to those closest to him.
"Who said you can leave?" but the next words of Jeremy froze the blood in Chris' veins. The latter stood in his place like a statue, not daring to even adjust his body.
"Give clear orders for that doctor to use the black drug," Jeremy said without even turning to Chris.
"That's..." but just mentioning that ominous name of the drug made Chris more terrified.
"What?" Jeremy sneered, "she is unconscious and without proper reason. We need her to wake up as fast as she can. What's wrong in using our strongest medicine to wake her up?"
Chris couldn't say any word but his face was drenched in cold sweat. That drug was long ago created from the blood of the first alpha of the Ravners.
He was also the leader of Anna's and Jeremy's family. The blood was obtained from an ancient container passed by generations in the family.
But no one ever tested the drug and survived! Hence force it got the ominous name of the black drug.
Frankly speaking, Jeremy was issuing the death sentence over his sister in such cold blood. And Chris was going to be the one taking all the blame if things went to light.
Killing one of the werewolves in the pack was a hideous crime, but killing the alpha was another thing.
"Do you want to die now?" Jeremy knew the thoughts rampaging inside Chris' mind at the moment. Instead of persuading him with soft words, he used threats to make him comply.
And the body of his minion was jolted the moment he heard that threat.
"No, sir. I'll do it right away."
"Good dog," Jeremy said in mockery before he heard the door shut behind him. "Those idiots... They wasted a precious chance to get rid of her," he muttered in deep anger while not knowing what to do.
He thought this was the perfect chance to get rid of his sister. However he never anticipated such a result. "They couldn't even make her lose an arm or a leg! A crippled wolf is a dead wolf with no use to the pack," he shook his head before heading back to his desk.
He knew many facts to make him in such a mood. For instance he knew his sister and her team of guards were taking the poison crafted by the research team for months now.
They should be weak, much weaker than regular enforcers. Comparing them to omegas wasn't a fantasy. But these bunch of weak wolves managed to stand against the top elites of the vampires.
"Something... is wrong," Jeremy didn't know what happened, but he had that annoying feeling. He trusted his hunch and was sure something was off.
He missed something here, and he would never imagine it was that mere human!
However, just before he could relax, his door knocked.
"Get in," he said in a strong tone while putting on a plain face again. But the moment the visitor entered, he couldn't help but feel bad omen.
She was Christy, one he once loved before and still had deep feelings for. And she was the sister of James, the stubborn and dangerous leader of the enforcers!
"Oh, I thought you were downstairs," Christy closed the door behind before leaning on it with her back.
Honestly speaking she was someone who could turn a country down with her beauty. Her body was slim, but her curves were slightly pumping from her chest and waist.
She had such a bronzed skin that had a unique luster to it. Her body was like a masterpiece, as she kept a great deal of attention towards it.
She wore a black leather jacket which reached the ends of her short and tight red skirt. Her skirt was so short that it only covered a few inches below her waist.
Black and red; these were his favorite colors. He knew well enough that she didn't love him, but she loved strength and wealth. And he got both.
Back in his young days she rejected him for over three times before he met the one who cursed his heart with her love.
However even after having such indomitable love, he still had weakness towards her for no obvious reason.
