Capítulo 13: The Yemen

The trained villagers who took the challenge of defeating the yetis while Lilith dealt with Norm, stood tall before the beasts not showing any hint of fear. Their attitudes represented the strong resolve the people of Haku had.

Luckily for them, other residents were battling other yetis leaving them with four, perfectly matching their numbers. It was going to be a hard battle, but with their firm resolve, they strived for victory.

"Hehe."The masked yeti began to burst into laughter.

Upon hearing the beast's voice, the warriors tightened the grips on their weapons expecting a brawl. The masked yetis which could talk were fairly stronger than the normal ones. Yet fortunately for them, the masked yetis also known as Yemen were mostly in Norm's domain, as she did not feel the need to invite them.

"The Queen's orders are absolute! If she says to talk, you talk. If she says die, you die!" Yemen shouted in a domineering voice.

"Hmm, a beast that can talk? You were once a proud villager until you offered yourself to look identical to my ass. Look what Norm turned you into, another one of her dogs!" Gary mocked Yemen. Even though he knew it was strong, he did not hesitate to speak his mind.

Yemen said nothing, just stared daggers at Gary.

"You three, handle the other humans."Yemen finally said before pointing at Gary."He is mine."

Acting upon the order given, the other yetis attacked the other men leaving Gary to bask in the glory of a one-on-one fight of a Yemen.

"You were right, I as well, was once an Ampler but I must say even for a human your mouth is an irritating part of your weak body." Yemen insulted accruing scornful glares from Gary.

Moving a bit closer to Gary, it squatted saying"You do not need your voice box, so I will gladly rip it out."

"Your ass must be jealous, of the amount of shit that comes out of your mouth."Gary threw in a roast line, further aggravating the beast.

Wielding a metallic sword, Gary spun it in a smooth motion before water particles began to once again surround his blade. Swinging it diagonally, an arc of water launched towards the beast.

"Petty tricks!" Yemen exclaimed, blocking with a single hand.

Surprisingly, the attack made quite a cut on its palm, shocking Yemen. It soon regained its composure, although having to admit that Gary was not all bark.

"Not bad!Hehe." Yemen praised, followed by awkward giggles that did not suit its big structure.

Clapping its hands together, it slammed its foot on the ground causing a trail of ice spikes to move in Gary's direction.

"No way! H-How can you use magic? Are there more like yo-" Gary could not help but blurt out as he jumped out of the way, but was unfortunately caught within the palms of the Yemen that leaped for him?

Creating a miniature boom sound, Gary's head was slammed into the ground making him wonder why the situation was so familiar. The blood began to leak from his head, painting the palm of the beast red.

Gary was now under a tremendous amount of pain but refused to yield. Using his Mana, he enshrouded his blade in the water, then proceeded to penetrate it into the skin of Yemen.

"AHH! YOU FUCKING WELP!" the beast cried out, throwing Gary away.

"I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!IAM GOING TO KILL YOU!IAM GOING TO KILL YOU!IAM GOING TO KILL YOU!" The yeti muttered, directing a severe amount of murderous energy towards Gary. It began freezing its wounds before charging in for Gary.

"Crap! Give me a break." Gary shouted, realizing he did not have enough time to check his wounds.

Sheathing his sword, Gary pointed his two index fingers towards the yeti.

"Water bullet!".

"Water bullet!".

"Water bullet!".

"Water bullet!".

"Water bullet!".

It was not necessary to mention the name of the attack, but Gary still did. If anything it put the caster at a disadvantage, especially when the name was giving away the spell type.

Like a madman, Gary continuously shot the yeti who still decided to charge in despite its injuries.

'Time for a change of strategy!'Gary inwardly thought of his next move.

However, before Gary could pull out his sword, ice spikes flew straight into his hands impaling them.

"AAARGH."Gary let out a cry, clearly expressing his agony.

Coming in, Yemen threw out its leg sending Gary flying like a soccer ball.

Gary was now severely injured with possible fatal injuries. Yet, the beast did not halt but rather grabbed Gary in an attempt to crush him.

"AAAAAAH," Gary screamed in pure agony.

"Beg me! Beg me to spare you."

Ptoey! Instead of pleading, Gary shot out a mouthful of blood on the yeti's mask, pushing its anger to new heights.

"Suit yourself." Gary continued to scream in pain.

Boom! A massive blow was delivered to the yeti's head, forcing him to let go of Gary and cracking its mask off. Surprisingly, the yeti's foot sank into the ground, creating a small crater.

'Who? The yeti's eyes glanced around only to see a black-haired boy with blue eyes wearing black performing a few stretches.t is

"You know, they say it is not about the outside appearance but the inside. But man, I gotta say both sides of you are equally as ugly." Kevin said mockingly as lightning began to flicker around him.
