Reynold murmured a spell and created a protection spell around them. 

He held Charlotte and hid her behind him while Alex took the front and bared his claws.

"We do not mean any harm. We are just passing by to meet a newly formed pack on the west.

We knew a few wolves there and wanted to greet them. This is a short cut. 

We do not want a fight but wolves do not back down when it comes to a challenge!" His voice was neither loud or authoritative but he still looked domineering when challenged by them.

The witches narrowed his eyes but his gaze was looking for the girl. Though hidden, he could feel a sense of energy coming from them.

"I will let you go since we do not fight without reason." stated Giles as he shifted his powers from one hand to another, surprising his team and the man who had brought him here, "but the girl would stay with us since she is not a wolf." he added, finally snapping everyone's head towards the girl.
