Capítulo 88: Chapter 86

The question was so unexpected that Liam choked on the champagne that he was sipping on. How did such a rich, spoiled, and rather elegant-looking woman like the one in front of him know Celeste? He didn't think there was any way that they ran in the same circles. 

The woman leaned back with a look of disgust as the host coughed causing a small amount of champagne to escape his mouth as he tried to get rid of the burn in his throat. 

"I'm sorry about that." He apologized as he dabbed his face with a napkin, clearing his throat once again as he tried to get rid of the soreness at the back of it. The woman was still keeping a decent distance between the two of them likely afraid he might start coughing again. The last thing she wanted was for any champagne to ruin what she was wearing. 

"Might you be able to tell me how you know this person?" Liam asked as he pushed the glass of champagne, reaching for the water instead to try and help clear his throat.
