Qiao Jun was vulnerable right now, and the last thing she wanted was for someone to take advantage of him—especially someone as close to him as Rong Xue.
She found Rong Xue waiting for her just outside the hospital building. He was leaning against the wall, his expression calm and collected, as if he had been expecting her.
"Miss Yu," he greeted her with a smile that didn't reach his eyes. "What can I do for you?"
"Stay away from him." Yu Holea said coldly.
"Hey! That's not fair. He is my best friend!" Rong Xue acted as if he was hurt by Yu Holea's words.
"Best friends don't stab each other in the back." Yu Holea narrowed her eyes.
"Yeah, they don't and I haven't yet."
"Your expression just now was enough to tell that you were going to do something wrong." Yu Holea argued.
Rong Xue pushed himself away from the wall and walked up to Yu Holea.
