Liam saw the vampire lord grin, and he instantly knew that something was wrong. He reached forward again and lifted the black dragon sword up to swing it down one more time.

However, just as he brought the sword down, he was blocked once again, and this time, he saw something shiny and metallic in between the black dragon sword and the vampire lord's skin.

"Fuck!" Liam immediately retreated back several paces.
