If a glare could kill someone then Lisabeth would be dead right now. Jamie directed her armor piercing gaze to her mother for quite some time before she adjusted her dress and started to walk away from her.

"Jamie, we have to talk about this!" Lisabeth tried to follow her behind but Alexander stopped her. He was just as furious as his wife.

"You are my mother in law but you are not welcome in my empire and you are not allowed to taunt my wife about something you made clear that we could never have. I won't let you. So, Lisabeth, go back to whatever hole you crawled out from" 

The Alpha silver ring on Alexander's iris shone brightly like sunlight on a river surface as he spoke to his mother in law. His whole body was trying to keep his wolf from lashing out at Lisabeth.

"I am not lying. There is another mistress waiting to be born, your majesty! I do not lie!"
