Ch.24 Movie Night.

A few days have passed since I have told Victoria about everything. And I feel amazing she has taken the news very well. My life is going great except that Malfoy still hasn't done anything.

I am suspecting he might not do anything because there is no evidence linking me to the attacks. I guess he is being cautious if he doesn't take the bait that would mean I have wasted my resources.

After all the classes were done for the day we all came to the study room or more like a study section in the library where we could do the Homework and talk about stuff and Lately things have been dull lately.

I arrived late because I was working on my Rune project and after months of work I can finally use a tv.

I walked up to the group how were down and low and I said "How are you guys?" The response was very weak. I said, "What is this?"

Hermione said "It's nothing. We are fine."

I didn't see Ginny so I asked "Where is Ginny?"

Hermione said, "She is not feeling well."

I looked at Luna and she was not wearing any shoes. I asked her "Luna where are your shoes?"

She said, "The Nargles took them."

I said, "If you want we can take care of the Nargles for you?"

She said, "It's fine they will return the shoes" I sighed and thought we need to do something about these bullies. She is very naive.

I said, "Okay, but if the Nargles takes your shoes again we want you to tell us alright?"

She said "Alright." and she then continued to read the quibbler magazine upside down. I may never get why she does some stuff she does but okay.

I sat down and was practicing magic. I have stopped paying attention in class long ago I just do Homework in the class and spend most of the time practising magic.

Teachers don't even mind they know I know most of the stuff so no point in questioning me so I was left alone to do whatever I wished. Hermione asked, "Can I talk to you for a minute...in private?"

I was a bit surprised at her request I then got up from my seat and we then moved to a different section in the library and I asked "What is it?"

She said, "I would like to talk to you about the attacks that have happened recently."

I said "Yes?"

She said "Harry and Ron suspect that you are behind all these attacks I have been trying to convince them otherwise but they are not listening to me. They are sure that you are the one who did those attacks."

I said, "And your question is?"

She sighed and said, "I want to be 100 per cent sure that you were not the one behind the attacks."

I stepped closer to Hermione and said "I can assure you that I am not the one who is responsible for these attacks."

Hermione then asked, "So then what were you doing in that corridor and don't tell me any lies."

I said, "Look I heard some voices of a best and some footsteps. I thought that someone might be in danger that is why I was there."

She said, "You heard something as well?"

I furrowed my eyebrows and asked, "What is it that you mean by as well?"

She sighed and said "Harry heard some somethings as well and he was convinced that someone or something was going to kill someone that is why we ran after it. Have you told someone about it?"

I said, "I have informed Headmaster about the situation and he doesn'tknow the identity of the beast either."

Hermione looked terrified and I grabbed her by the shoulders and said "Do not pursue this matter, Hermione."

She said, "I will not." I knew she was going to anyway so it didn't matter.

We then went to our table and I continued to practice my magic for some time and I saw everyone's face they all were sad.

I then asked "Ted, Daphne, Victoria and Olivia would you mind coming to the side a bit I would like to ask you something?"

They nodded and we moved away from the prying eyes of students to a bit more secluded area and I then looked around and said Happily "The Rune now works and now it can power bigger devices."

Victoria said, "Oh, you wanted to talk about this?"

I was confused and asked, "What did you think I was going to say?"

Victoria said "Never mind that. Please continue."

I said, "Okay, so to celebrate we should have a movie night. What do you say?"

Daphne said, "Where will we have this movie night?"

I said, "My place is big enough to accommodate all of us."

Olivia said, "Should we also invite Alyssa?"

I said, "How I am going to explain the Tv to her?"

Olivia said, "Just tell them that Daphne's Dad send her this and we set it up in our room."

I said "That makes sense. It could work. But how are we going to explain how it got delivered?"

Olivia said, "You know you can be very dumb for someone who ranks high in class."

Daphne and Victoria said at the same time "Tell me about it."

I said, "Okay, I got it we can say that Fordy delivered it."

Olivia said, "There you go, little muppet baby figured it out." they laughed

I said, "Alright, Alright laugh it up."

Ted said, "Yeah you muppet." I looked at him and I felt betrayed and said "Et tu Ted."

He then asked, "What are we watching?"

I said "The greatest saga of all times The Star Wars Trilogy. I mean part one for today."

I then said, "So which one of you will invite Alyssa?"

Olivia said, "I will do it."

I said, "Sweet. After the feast, we watch Star Wars." I looked at Daphne and Victoria and said "One of you are coming with me to help me set up the T.V. so who is it going to be."

Victoria said, "Daphne will go." Daphne looked at her and Victoria said in a hushed tone "You were talking to me all night about him now go or I will."

I looked at Victoria and asked, "What are guys talking about?"

Victoria smiled and said, "Nothing you two go we will take care of everything here and meet you guys at the Hall."

Daphne and I took our books and headed towards the Slytherin Common room.

Alyssa asked Victoria "Where are those two going?"

Victoria smiled and said, "It is a secret."

(In Room of the Slytherin Girls)

I walked into their room It was much different from the others. Usually, only two people live in one room but this room was Huge and had a lot of space the room's walls were made of cobblestone it was well lit in contrast to the gloomy appearance of the common room.

I saw three-bed, a fireplace in the corner a window with the view of the lake, A single table with two chairs. Three almirahs or a wardrobe and a sofa and the whole floor had carpeting.

There were three beds two of which were properly kept and were more in line with elegance with one having some stuffed toys while one was empty and had nothing like that sort. The third one looked completely different from the two it had pink sheets and had stuffed toys.

I pointed at the Pink one and said "Let me guess Olivia." Then the one with "some stuffed animals and said "Victoria" and lastly pointed at the one that had nothing and said "You. Am I correct?"

She said angrily "Yes, I don't have anything girly, so what?"

I sat on her bed and said, "No need to be angry" I smiled and said, "I know you are a girl and a beautiful one at that." She didn't show her emotions but I could see a slight smile.

I said, "I was hoping for a better reaction than that." I got up and said, "Oh, well now let us get to business." I then opened up my suitcase and asked "Want to come inside?" she nodded and we stepped into the suitcase and we took out the T.V. the Vhs player.

I asked, "Where should I put it?"

She thought and said, "I think over there by the Window and then we can move the sofa towards the door side and put the Tv over the table. and then we can move the Wardrobe to make room for the sofa."

I said, "Let's do it then." I then used Wingardium Leviosa and moved all of the furniture accordingly when I was done we both sat down on the sofa and I said "It looks good."

She said "Yeah it does. I did it."

I looked at her and said, "I did the heavy lifting."

She said, "I told you where everything goes."

I said "I could have done that"

She said, "Wouldn't look as good as this though. You don't understand anything about decoration"

I said, "You are right." She looked satisfied and I decided to ask her something and said "I am making a new home in London and would like your help decorating it."

She looked confused and said, "You are messing with me right?"

I said, "I am being 100 per cent honest and would love your help on the matter. Because as you said I don't understand anything about decoration.

I haven't even moved a single piece of furniture from my Room in school and I have been living there for two years now. I don't understand which furniture goes with what.

So If you want you can help me with that. It is your choice."

She said, "You can hire people for that."

I said, "I can but I would like a personal touch in this matter. Seeing it is not a mansion but a home."

She said, "I will think about it."

We the Sat there and didn't talk for a while and I said "Daphne?"

She said "Hm?"

I said "Thank you for everything. I know it is hard for the both of you, but especially for you and I just wanted to thank you for being such an amazing person."

She smiled a little and said, "I am happy to help." Daphne then said, "We should go now it is time for the feast."

I said, "Let's go then."

After the feast was done we returned to the Common room and headed towards the Girls room.

We entered and Victoria said "Wow you guys changed the whole place it looks good and doesn't feel that the room is filled with stuff. Nice job Daphne."

I said "I helped too. But anyway I welcome you all to the first movie night of our little group I hope that this can become a tradition of the weekends for us. And I know that it is unfortunate that our other friends couldn't join us because of the stupid rules of the School but I figure out a way to so that they too can join us in the future.

But putting all that aside today we are watching Star Wars: A New Hope." I plopped the VHS in the VCR. I dimmed the light and pressed play.

The owners of the room sat on the sofa, Ted and Alyssa sat on the chairs and I sat down on the carpet with cushions with Astoria.

I introduced well mostly all of them to Star wars Only Me and Alyssa knew about the Movie. And we were very happy when our friends enjoyed the film.

After the film was over Alyssa went to her room and I suggested that Astoria slept with Daphne and we guys went towards our room.

We exited the room and Ted was acting like a fanboy over Han solo. I mean can you blame him.

As we were going I heard Daphne calling me and I said to Ted "You go ahead."

I asked, "What is it?"

She said "Thank you for all of this Astoria had been scared because of the attacks this really helped all of us. So thank you."

I said "Your welcome Daphne."

She then hugged me and placed a kiss on my cheek and said "Good Night."

I also said "Good Night."

(In Jon's Room)

I was laying on my bed thinking about today it was a good day. And my relationship with Daphne is also getting good. And I suspect that Ted fancies Olivia I might help him in that endeavour as well.

Cotton asked, "You look happy today father."

I said "Because I am. Today was a good day."

Cotton asked, "When you asked for Daphne's help on the matter related to the decoration of the house was it real."

I said, "It was I have commissioned to build a small home in London so that I can stay there during the winter break."

Cotton said, "You could have hired professionals to do it."

I said, "I will, but I would still like to ask for her help. Seeing that she has a knack for these things. It might give us some more time to spend together."

Cotton said, "You can just ask her to spend more time with her."

I said "I can but she won't agree. So I will give her an excuse to spend some more time with me."

Cotton said, "You people are stupid."

I laughed and said "That we are. If we could just say what we all wanted, it could have been much easier. But that is not how it all works."

I then dimmed the lights and drifted off to sleep.
