The party is almost done and Wolde Samuel is already tried. If he stays in the ball room one more minute, he thinks he will pass out and that's not the best feeling for him also he needs to stay on high alert.
He was walking back to his cottage to finish some things when he was stopped by none other than Emanuel.
He stepped to the right to walk past Emanuel but Emanuel stepped to his left and stopped Wolde Samuel from walking away.
Huffing out, Wolde Samuel stepped to his left but Emanuel stepped to his right again stopping him from walking past him.
Wolde Samuel went to his right and when Emanuel stepped to his left, he immediately stepped to his left and he finally managed to walk past him at ease but this made Emanuel angrier.
Emanuel run and stood in front of Wolde Samuel again blocking his way to his cottage.
'What is he doing?
Is he a kid or something?
No wonder him and Ts-
YOU SHOULD BE SAYING SORRY TO HER NOT INSULT HER MAN!' he scolded to himself.
Yet again, their game starts. When one would step to his right one would step to his left and Wolde Samuel tried to use his trick again but it didn't work.
"What is your problem?" asked Wolde Samuel his voice laced with irritation.
"No. What's your problem?" Emanuel retorted back emphasizing the word 'Your'.
'What did I do?
I was just minding my own business. That's all what I have been doing the whole time I was at the party.' That was Wolde Samuel's thought when his face mirrored confusion.
'I'm pretty sure that he was staring at Tsege purposely and now he acts like he doesn't know?! Huh?!' Emanuel was really mad and it's very funny to see that Wolde Samuel did that without knowing what he was doing.
"What's wrong with you?!" Wolde Samuel said getting his voice a little bit higher which made Emanuel angrier than he was.
"How dare you raise your voice at me when you are in my territory?!" asked Emanuel with a calm voice but inside he was fuming.
"And how many times should I tell you that this territory isn't your territory?" Wolde Samuel retorted back.
"Whatever it is, you are not allowed to do that when you are in someone else's territory."
"Or what? What are you going to do to me?" saying that Wolde Samuel stood taller but since they were in the same height, he didn't go any taller than Emanuel which made him frustrated.
"Remember where you are staying at." Emanuel said with a dangerous voice almost like daring him to do something that will piss him off and Wolde Samuel was really surprised because he has never seen Emanuel so serious before.
'I take that back.
He isn't immature. In fact he is… why am I saying this again?' Wolde Samuel starts to debate with himself again.
Sighing, "I don't have time for this man. I just want to go and sleep. I'm very tired."
"Of course you would be tired after staring at Tsege for such a long time without blinking. Of course you will have plenty energy when it comes to stuff like that." Emanuel said with a huff.
"What?" Wolde Samuel asked confused about what Emanuel just said.
"Humm Nothing nothing." With that Emanuel was about to walk past Wolde Samuel but Wolde Samuel blocked his way like Emanuel did to him.
"What do you want?"
"Can you please say what you just said again?"
"I said 'What do you want?'" Emanuel answered him with a mocking smile but it only made Wolde Samuel angry.
"When I tell you something, you have to do it so now tell me." Wolde Samuel said with a low voice making Emanuel straighten up his body in alert.
"Watch out what you are saying. You are in my territory not in yours."
"How many times should I tell you that this territory is not yours?!"
"Well, I'm the one next in the line so I should be taking responsibility already don't you think?"
"I don't care if you are in the line or not but let me say it again, this isn't your land."
Now both men are having a staring contest with each other and none of them want to break the eye contact.
Wolde Samuel was about to blink when Tsege's voice boomed through the silence.
"Emanuel?" she called out. "Where is this goof?" she then asked herself making Emanuel grumble a bit and Wolde Samuel laugh.
"Ah! There you are I was looking for you almost everywh-" she cut herself when she saw who Emanuel was standing with.
'Should I say sorry now?
NO! Even if I say sorry I'll make sure that there is no one… and I don't want anyone especially Emanuel to witness it.' With that he shut his mouth.
They both looked at each other but Emanuel was staring at Wolde Samuel. So when he noticed that he was staring at her like he was doing at the celebration/party, Emanuel stepped in front of Tsege blocking Wolde Samuel's way to see her also making him snap out of the his dream.
"What are you staring at?!"
Wolde Samuel just blinked at him but when he finally fully snapped out of it, he took a step back putting some distance between them.
He looked at her and the word 'Sorry' was written all over his face and eyes making Emanuel very confused.
Tsege looked at him and looked away after she saw what is on his face. She was about to forgive him right there and then but she stopped herself since an apology should be said out loud and then it should be shown by their action.
'No! You will not forgive him until he says sorry to you face to face.' With that, she advert her eyes to where he is only to find nothing. It's like he disappeared into air like a dust.
