Capítulo 122: Caught in France

Knock. Knock. Knock.

"I told you not to stay up late, Miss Nancy!" Marco complained in a polite tone while standing outside the door in the hallway, waiting for Nancy to finally show up so they could go back to the laboratory. 

"But the book was epic." Nancy muffled from the other side of the door, her voice sounded as if she had drunk a lot of alcohol during the night. 

But no, her voice sounded the way it sounded because she had tried to pull an all-nighter to binge-read the entire book. However, it didn't work that well, and she crashed right after finishing a few contents. 

Nancy quickly got fresh and opened the door of her hotel unit to see Marco eagerly and patiently waiting outside. Nancy passed a slight, nervous smirk upon seeing him stand there with furrowed brows. They quickly left the hotel, called a cab, and drove back to the lab. They had so much to go through as they had only witnessed an overview of each room rather than crucial details.
