“What’s next?”
“I don’t know. Is Kenta even allowed to date? I mean, he’s trying to meditate toward enlightenment. Maybe the rules are different when it comes to him.”
Milo chortled softly. “I’m sure he’s still permitted to date. Years ago, I’d read and heard of stories about a few nine-tailed foxes in the past who ended up marrying and having children with mortal men and women. Obviously, enlightenment doesn’t equal celibacy.”
Jensen opened and shut his mouth a couple of times in quick succession.
“Wow! Okay. What do you think about us dating one another then?”
“All three of us?”
“Yeah.”
Milo wanted that so badly, but he also had his doubts. “What if we don’t work out?”
“What if we do?” Jensen retorted in the next instant.
Milo was stunned for a moment before he smiled at Jensen. “You’re right. Should we give it a shot then?”
“Only if Kenta is willing to get on board.”
“Of course.”
“Then yes. Let’s do it.”
