On the way to work Cisco realized that he wasn’t going to be next door when Greg had his meeting with Patrick. Despite the fact that he didn’t quite believe in Brian’s precognitive abilities, he decided to change his meeting to three so that he would be there at four when Patrick showed up. Having settled that nagging worry to his satisfaction, he turned his mind to the day ahead. He connected his cell to the car and got Betty on the line.

“Change the staff meeting to three.” Cisco told Betty as soon as she picked up.

“But Dr. de Loria, everyone will have to rearrange their schedules.” Betty answered sounding frazzled.

“For once I’m going to look out for my own interests. If they can’t change the meeting, they can have it without me.” Cisco was decisive.

Betty blustered, “But they need you for budget approval, Doctor.”
