“Why do they need a second opinion?” Cisco took a bite of his burrito. “This is wonderful.”
“I took a chance. I didn’t know if you liked Mexican.” Greg took a bite of his toast.
“I didn’t know I did. I think I like anything you cook.” Cisco ate some fruit. “You tried to dodge my question. What’s going on with John?” Cisco took a firm tone, hoping that Greg was so accustomed to obedience that he would tell him without a fuss.
“I shouldn’t discuss this with you, but I do need advice and I suppose I could pass this off as a medical consultation.” Greg spread raspberry jam on the second piece of toast.
“What seems to be the problem?” Cisco leaned forward.
“Patrick has a substance abuse problem. So far, he’s come to his two appointments high, first on coke and then, crack. From what he’s told me, he’s also skin popped heroin, done crystal meth and prescription drugs as well as booze.” Greg put down his toast and took a sip of coffee.
