“Ransom, I’m your lover. I’ll park the car and go in with you.” He turned his head to glare at him.

“Keep your eyes on the road, please. Thank you. Now, you’ll drop me off at departures because that’s what I asked you to do.”

“I don’t think so.” Stubborn man. Why wouldn’t he let Parrish do this for him?

“Do I need to order you to obey me? I’m your boss, remember.”

“Only for two more weeks. Or for however long it takes me to train my replacement.”

“Dammit, Parrish—”

“Please. I won’t hold your hand or kiss you or embarrass both of us—”

“Did I embarrass you when I kissed you in front of Ms. Sayles?”

“—when you have to go through Security—what? Of course not! And don’t change the subject. Ransom, please let me go in to say goodbye to you.” Parrish held his breath. He was pushing his luck, but even if Ransom was unaware of it, Parrish loved him. They were going to be apart for the first time since they’d become lovers, and they hadn’t even had much time to be together.
