His computer was set up in his study. He’d pull up Realtors while Parrish was busy in the bedroom. It paid to be a Burke. He had no doubt he’d be able to line up some showings.

For a second Ran considered having Parrish stay here, perhaps in the master with him…No, why rock the boat? He had never encouraged any of his lovers to move in with him.

But then he considered the young man in his guest bedroom and thought, Well, maybe

“All done, Ransom.”

“Excellent.” So was he. “Let’s go.”

“Where?”

“To see my lawyer.” Ransom had already left a message with him that they’d be coming by this afternoon, and Ran expected him to be in his office. “I want us to get this agreement hammered out.”

“Yes. Of course.”

They went back down to the parking garage under his building. “I have two spots. The second will be for you.”

“Thank you.” Parrish ducked his head, got into the Porsche, and Ran strode around to the driver’s side.
