“But they won’t have the Thornton blood.”

“Don’t try to sell me that nonsense. Anyway, there is a spell in the books that you can utilize to create a blood bond with an adopted child. Once you do that, any child that you have adopted will automatically have the blood of the Thorntons coursing through his or her veins. You are not the first gay witch in a long line of Thorntons, you know?”
