“Morning.”He went around her to the coffee maker.

“Huomenta,”she answered in Finnish,smiling a little.“The tiger is better,then?”

“Yeah.”Mikael nodded,took a sip of his coffee,and hummed contenly.“He will be conscious enough to eat this morning.So make a good stew.”He smiled and patted the small female’s shoulder gently.

She didn’t shy away from his touch anymore,but then again,he was always cautious with her.

“When did I notmake a good stew?”She grinned at him,and he chuckled.

“True.”He had to agree with that.

He left her to cook and wandered to his office,got his laptop,and walked back to the guestroom with it and his mug.

What he found was interesting.

The tiger had moved enough to be lying down on his stomach,head turned and staring at the doorway.Between him and Mikael stood Noah in his sleek jaguar form,tangled in the jogging pants and T-shirt he had been wearing when he came downstairs.
