“He’s going to go for us at the airport, then?” Armand flicked a piece of lint from his suit.

“That’s Murphy’s and my best guess.” Gabriel followed Armand back into the dining room.

Armand returned to the meeting, walked to the head of the table, and sat down. Gabriel did the same.

“Murphy told Gabriel that we’re on our own. We could hire a bounty hunter but it would take too long.”

“We have enough Enforcers to secure the hangar,” Marc observed.

“Yes, we do. So, we’ll check the hangar, then the plane before we take off,” Gabriel decided.

“It would be nice if we caught him and brought him back in chains.” Armand took another cup of coffee.

“I’ll tell the Enforcers you said that,” Gabriel said dryly.

“That should get them moving.” Rémy chuckled.

“Go and rest for the mating.” Armand stood and that was that, the meeting was over. 15
