“I gather this has something to do with you,” Kane observed.
“A story for another time. It’s getting late, we should go.”
The elevator dinged. Agnes came into the suite. “The Alpha is ready to leave.”
Ian elbowed Sean. “After a while it’s like sharing one mind.”
“Oh shit, we didn’t tell him about the Alpha Link. Be sure and ask Gabriel right after we leave. I forgot about it when I was in danger, but that’s a story for lunch.”
“Come down with us and say goodnight.”
“Okay, but is it Armand or Alpha?” Kane was terrified he would make a mistake.
“Business is over, so it’s Armand.”

After closing the door on their guests, Gabriel took Kane into his arms with great care. “Do you understand now, baby?”
