“Yes, I eat a lot at meals, much more than I used to eat, but I’m not gaining weight.”

“That’s your body preparing for the mating. The pheromones do that to you.”

“I have an idea to help solve your intimacy issues,” Sean looked as if a light bulb had turned on in his head.

“What’s that? I’ll take all the help I can get.”

“You’re already in Gabriel’s suite, let him move in with you. Let him hold you at night. Given you both have intense feelings for each other, intimacy will follow and when you’re ready, he can call the pack and we’ll all go to Atlanta to witness the mating bite.”

“Mating bite?”

“Wolves mark you when they mate you. It hurts a little the first time but after that it’s as erotic as hell.” Ian stuffed another cookie in his mouth.

Colin peered at Ian. “Leave some for the rest of us.”

Sean turned to Colin, raising his eyebrow at Ian. “For some of us the appetite never goes away. I’d be as big as a house if I ate what he eats.”
