“The pharmaceutical division is working on a vaccine for Ebola that doesn’t need refrigeration and can be distributed in the field.” Artis took a bite of his sandwich.
“What a boon to human society that would be. Now, if we could only cure a common cold,” Gabriel joked.
“We’re working on it.”
Kane finished his supper and sat quietly listening to what they had to say.
Gabriel noticed. “Kane, you should be resting. Let me take you up to your room. Dr. Artis can examine you and after you can listen to the television, or I have some gay romances that are in audio format.”
Gabriel carried him again up to the suite where he undressed to let Dr. Artis examine the damage.
