Gerald was walking towards the hut after visiting the new home they were building for themselves. He was impressed by the work that was done so far. He hadn't visited the place after the initial week of the construction. Oscar and Isabella didn't bother him or nagged to pay attention to the work.

Gerald didn't interfere because he knew that that house was Isabella's dream. And he didn't want to manipulate her dream home to his liking, so he decided to stay away and let them decide what they wanted to do with the property. He was fine with everything as long as he had a bed to sleep in and food to eat. He didn't expect more than that from the two of them.
