Gina POV(ch23)
"Please help me Gina....."
He says softly as he rubs his cheek in my hand. I hate to be the one to make decisions like this. When I look at him in this light, the way his hair falls over his eyes, and how messy and bruised up his face looks, he appears....innocent.
Realizing how entranced I am, I jerk my hand back and clear my throat.
"The only proof you have is your words, Kain," I stare at the ground and clench my fist. Kain looks down at it and back up to me. "Okay look. If I take you to the company, I can have someone talk to one of the other guys to get my record with them, and it'll show I haven't done anything shady but my job,"
Kain pleads, looking up at me with puppy eyes.
"Just keep me alive until then, please."
I finally look up from the ground and at Kain's face again. "Please," he begs again.
"WE'RE BACK," The three boys burst through the door.
"The grandma is alive," Vincent rolls his eyes. Korain sighs in relief.
