Capítulo 23: TWENTY TWO
A woman in her 30's, wearing an expensive suit is walking in a large hallway of a room, design to look like a throne, towards to the chair at the end where the number one hunter of America, Daniel Craig is seating, wearing a large grin in his face.
"What brings you here Lea, do you have good news for me?"-Daniel Craig.
"I'm sorry sir but no"-Lea.
The grin on his face vanish when he heard what the woman said.
"What is it?"-Daniel Craig.
"I'm here too inform you sir that your eldest son, Michael has died in a portal raid in the Philippines, they sent us your son's sword as memorabilia, we were also currently in touch with the Philippines HA to gather more intel on the raid he was in"-Lea
Daniel Craig didn't said anything after hearing the news about his son dying in a portal raid, instead he just stand up from his chair and face the wall. As his anger intensifies, he's beast form is also slowly formed and as an anger release, he slashed the walls, destroying it, revealing the city lights below.
"Gather all information you can get from that raid, everything, I want to know everything that happen"-Daniel Craig.
"Yes sir"-Lea.
I woke up early because today is the start of classes in the Hunters Academy. While waiting for Ceres to finish taking a bath, I was cooking breakfast. After taking a bath, I take out from the dresser the suit that specially tailored for me to wear to the academy, Ceres is also wearing his uniform too, which I modified to also fit him in his centaur form in case something happen and he needs to transform.
After eating breakfast, we went to the lab in the basement because I created a magic circle that connect this lab to my office in the academy. It's like those teleportation door devices they have but this thing is only visible to those who have advance true eyes like mine. The magic circle is also composed of my own writing, which what I will also teach in this school partially, same to the other writings, because I don't want to reveal all the secrets of the other worlds writings and letters, especially the writings of my friends made. All I'm going to teach them is all they have to know.
I let Ceres go to the lecture hall first and stayed in the lab for a few more minutes because I am going to do something. Besides I have a few minutes before the classes starts. I put the artifact that I got, the day I met Ceres on the table and start the appraisal to see what kind of materials are used to make it and how it was crafted.
As I activated my appraisal, the materials and how it was crafted float in the air. I can't make the artifact with the materials it was crafted because its materials are very rare especially the Yggdrasil bark, and I will not find those in this dimension because any of this, doesn't exist here. I focus instead in the process of how it was made, and it's markings. I should try making one using the same materials that can be found here and has the same characteristics.
I exited the office when the bell rang. I enter the huge lecture hall that is build for the learning of the other world writings, letters and how to read it. The room is pact with students from every nation, that's why they build up headphones for each student to use to hear what I am saying in their language.
"Good morning hunters, I know all of you know me already, but again I am Mr. Light your instructor"-Demetri
I started teaching the writings and letters, specifically Daya's writings right after I introduce myself, I introduce one letter at a time and tell them how it was pronounced and written the right way. I'm glad that everybody is paying attention and I'm glad some of them are asking questions.
After the morning classes, everybody takes a break. Ceres, Joel and Alice approach me to invite me for lunch but I refuse because I will be working on the artifact. When I return to my office, I saw Chairman David with the twins and Jack waiting for me.
"Chairman? I didn't expect for your visit, is there a problem?"-Demetri.
"We just came here to see how you are doing in your first day"-Chairman David
"Thank you Chairman, but I know you didn't come here just to see how am I doing"-Demetri.
I saw in the Chairmans face that something is really up, he signaled one of the twin to talk and one of them step forward.
"We know that you are aware of what our gifts are Mr. Demetri, we foresee something that we can't understand, and we know that you can explain it"-Elliot.
"We foresee a place looking like a maze, a labyrinth"-Ersie.
"I know what you are talking about, I am very familiar of that place because I have been their once, it is a huge dungeon that contains multiple monsters in multiple rooms, and one big room for the labyrinth's protector, that can possibly be much stronger than any S-Class monster you encountered, I guess it's time to tell you what really is happening"-Demetri.
I began telling the truth by introducing the other dimension and to support what I am saying, I project pictures and videos in the air.
"Other dimension theory is real Chairman and I am from that dimension, other kinds of beings that you see in books and movies can be found in the other dimension, and you humans were the only one separated, you have your own dimension, our world is full of magic and spells, while your dimension is blessed with science and technology"-Demetri.
I switched the pictures and videos of what is happening right now, and I can see how scared they are in their faces.
"But unfortunately, our dimension now is in total chaos, because of that thing, it is called the darkness fragment, it eats dimensions and turns everyone living in it into its puppet, corrupts it, feeding in their life force, I am lucky enough to get out from the other dimension and sent here"-Demetri.
"So your saying that, that thing is after our dimension now"-Chairman David
"Yes, because it wants to more gain power to defeat the gods and rule everything, everything that is happening now, the eternal sleep, the missing people, the portals and dungeons, are all caused by that monster, I am lucky enough to put it in chains of slumber before I die and be sent here but seeing how the dungeons, portals and the beings inside getting stronger, he is getting out of that chains"-Demetri.
They all remain silent, what I am saying to them must be hard to take all in.
"Before going into war with that thing, me and my dear friends, shared our blessing to this dimension, that's why you all now develop and gone through awakening, it is a form of help for you to defeat what is coming for you"-Demetri.
