It was somewhat awkward at the dining table. Serina was busy eating. First chicken, and then a steak. She quite enjoyed it.

Everyone was looking at her, but she did not seem to notice it. She kept doing her own things.

Yes. She chose to come back. She was the victim. Why should she be the one to leave? Why should she allow these people to feel at ease?

Serina's grandfather Kamden and grandmother Miranda looked at each other. Then, Miranda shook her head while Kamden continued to eat.

There was only one chicken leg left on the plate. Miranda smiled at Clara and said, "Clara, you should have more since you're pregnant. Here, let me take this chicken leg for you."

Just as Miranda touched the chicken leg with her chopsticks, Serina stretched out her chopsticks and was about to pick up the chicken leg at the same time.

There was tension in the room.

Andrew Norris looked at Serina and said, "Serina, you've eaten quite a few chicken legs. Let Clara have this."
