Capítulo 63: Beginning of the Warring Period

Alastair was sitting on a luxurious chair while gazing through the silky curtains that covered the windows of her room. She had a serious expression plastered on her face as numerous thoughts passed through her mind. The reason for her stern expression and seriousness was relatively simple. It was regarding the newly upgraded and gained skills.

Although such skills sounded good in the descriptions of the Astral Codex. Its practical application is another problem in itself. Even though her skills became overpowered, she wondered what the limits were. For example, controlling something dozens of kilometers away from her. It might be possible with her skill, but what about the consumption?

Just because she has overpowered skills doesn't mean that her mana capacity would be able to handle them. With them being upgraded, it wouldn't be surprised for the consumption to be a ten, no... a hundred times larger than before. So it wasn't an unfounded worry for Alastair.
