He also noticed that his aura was also being sucked by the surrounding darkness.

The surroundings even got darker as pitch black substance covered his surroundings. The water turned cold and several icicles formed in front of him. The icicles turned into point pillars as they shot towards him. On top of that, the water was violently crashing down on his aura barrier. Countless dark limbs extended and a huge dark pillar shot towards him.

August didn't reply and stayed still in his place. As all the icicles and shadow pillars as well as the water vortex approached him, his aura field started to crumble from the pressure. But there was not a slight change in his expression. His eyes shone as the reflection from the icicles entered his vision.
'Authority'
As soon as he activated his authority, everything in the trench stopped moving. The shadow pillars, icicles, and the water vortex all stopped midway. August only heard the mental transmission from the beast as it was frozen in the water. The huge body was now staying still like a giant statue.
