Jinny was watching the morning news while eating her breakfast. The incident was so big that the entire country was in an uproar, but there was no trace of the perpetrators. The incident happened yesterday in the morning and all the residents of that area were somehow teleported to a safe place. Eyewitnesses claimed that there was a huge shadow dome, that covered the entire area. After the DoA came to the place, there was no one in the place of the incident. They started gathering data but didn't found anything yet. And somehow all the present officials of the DoA office that day vanished, along with the branch manager.
Jinny knew something big was happening. Normal people were always left out of the big incident related to awakened beasts. The accident was so big, yet no information leaked from the DoA.
Jinny looked around the room nervously. When she noticed that no one was looking at her she sighed in relief.
'System'
Jinny said in her mind.
A hologram-like construct appeared in front of her. She checked her quest reward for today.

She clicked the shop tab and at the top-left corner, it showed the accumulated points she earned from quests.

She has been doing daily chores since the day she got the first quest and getting the fixed 5 points quest reward. She tried to lock the shop but it said that 'not enough points', which frustrated her to no end. She wanted to know what she can do with those points, but the damn system didn't let her see the items at all. On top of that, there was a warning that, if she told anyone about it, then her skills will be taken. So she was very cautious about this. She couldn't just ignore it willy-nilly. Whoever or whatever was giving her the quests might stay true to its words.
*sigh*
She plopped back on the sofa and looked at the status again. There was a red mark on top of the shop button. She knit her eyebrows and clicked the button again to see what was that about. When the shop opened, there was a list of artifacts listed on there.

The shop was unlocked and there were many B grade and A grade artifacts listed. She scrolled through the list;n A rank artifact was the last unlocked artifact on the list. The cost was about 1500 points. There were more locked slots, but she couldn't see them now. She scrolled up again and looked at the first artifact listed in the shop. It was a B-grade artifact, that required 100 points to purchase. While she had only 45 points, she will be able to buy it eventually in a week or two.
'Oh my god, I can't believe these artifacts are this cheap. If a user wanted to buy a B grade artifact from the market, it would usually cost around a hundred thousand kroma. She thought to herself as she looked at the other artifacts on the list.
While she was looking through the list, a new window popped up in front of her.

" What the hell ?" Jinny yelled out as she fell off the couch.

August was looking at the system control panel, where he updated the store with new artifacts, some of which he made himself, others were salvaged from the battles with the users. He picked the suitable artifacts for her sister and put them in the updated store. He set the price low so that it will be easier to get the artifacts, but not too expensive, as to encourage her to work harder to get the points.
He looked at the quest he just gave her. It was different from the usual chores he assigned to her in the quest, which was set to default from a week ago. He gave her physical exercise tasks and increased the points for the quest reward.
" With this, she will be working hard from now on," August smirked looking at the quests.
" Now it is time to resume the hunts, I wanted to complete the hunts within a month. But we have to speed things up. There are a lot of things I need to take care of."
He checked the house reconstruction process, that was going on. There was still a lot of time left before it finishes. He teleported to his lab underground. There were new tables and many artifacts were placed on those tables.
After yesterday's fight, he came back home and started synthesizing new artifacts. He needs to perfect the process to increase the chances of succeeding in refining S and SS grade artifacts.
He stayed all day in his lab and created many artifacts that he later put in the shop. Many artifacts that didn't match his quality standard were placed elsewhere on a different table.
He picked up the A grade artifacts he built yesterday and put them in the shop for fatty and Daisy respectively.
'Their point accusation is high so they can redeem these pretty early.' He thought.
After putting them in the shop, he got back to the main synthesizing table.

He looked at the new blueprint he created for the next artifact that he was going to make. It looked like a type of shield with a beast core at the center. He reviewed the one more time and told the system to simulate the blueprint.
