"Good morning, sir. Here is your tea" as Lara served Z with a huge smile on her face.
"Thank you"
"Can I help you with anything, sir?"
"No need. I will just wait for Silver"
Shiver ran down the attendant's spine as she heard how casually the customer addressed his president. She reckoned that the guy before him is son if a towering figure.
"Then please enjoy your stay here, sir." Lara said, in a now slightly nervous voice
Z nodded and dismissed her. After waiting for an entire hour, Silver finally came back.
"Sir, apologies for the delay. The savings were now properly calculated."
"It is okay. Can I know how many there are?"
"Of course, sir." Silver handed over an object that looks like a pen but couldn't have been more different. It does not have a ball point, the top and bottom of it are carved with a circle, and there is a slit in the middle.
"Uhm, what is this?"
"It is called Leiptor's Tab. First, please engrave your name into it. It would give you full ownership of the tab. As for how to use it, just inject either your energy or mana into it. The circle on top will emit mana in the form of a panel and will show you all of the money you have." Z did what he said word per word. He was shocked by how the device functions, this was his first time seeing anything of the like.
What came next was puzzling as he didn't know if the '5,876,543 purple crystals' represents a good number.
Seeing the confusion in his face, Silver sighed in his mind and then explained.
"The currency that we are using are crystals. The ranking follows the order of power rank, red to violet. It's trade rate is 100 to 1. For example 100 red can be traded for 1 orange crystal, and so on."
Z is still puzzled since he still did not know if the current money he has is a good number. 'Hayst, if travelling through the association costs purple crystals, then I'm very poor' he sighed in his mind. If this is heard by the attendant earlier she might have vomited blood.
Seeing the still puzzled look on his face, Silver continued.
"Ahem...To put it into perspective, the whole manor we are currently in right now, only cost around 100 green coins."
"Wha...t? Am I rich? HAHA! I don't need to worry about money! HAHAHA!" as realization dawned to Z
Silver used all his might to prevent any reaction from showing. Truly a professional.
