Kakuda sat on the chair, and allowed the words his mother spoke, to fully sink into his subconscious.

He stood up from the chair he was sittings on and paced the floors of the throne room.

Now that he has asked his men to withdraw to the top of the mountains, it will be difficult for him to call them back. And flying over there to meet them, will make him look suspicious.

Who knows, the crown prince might have sent dragons to trail him and report all his suspicious activities, to him.

He continued to pace the floors, as he thought about the right approach to take.
