Capítulo 22: Photoshopped nudes
The same thing happened when I went down for lunch. The moment I came into the noisy workers' cafeteria, the entire place became too silent, you can hear a pin drop.
The entire people in the room all gave me scorching glares, while others looked at me in disgust.
At first, I tried to ignore the scorching looks, but it wasn't as easy as I thought it to be. The more I tried to ignore the looks, the more impossible it became for me to endure the suspenseful silence.
Unable to endure it anymore, I race out of the cafeteria, and back to my office, without taking anything with me.
The silence and looks I got made me instantly lose my appetite as I thought about what might have caused such a scorching glare from them.
I really can't think of what I did that's likely to cause such a look.
"What's wrong?"
Turned out I mistakenly ran into Dozzy's office thinking it was mine.
" I don't know."
" You don't know what's wrong with you, or you don't know what you have to do?" he raised a brow.
" I can't explain this, Doz. But this started this morning."
"What started this morning?"
" The looks!" I tug my hair in frustration," ever since I came to work, the entire workers in the office have been acting odd."
"Odd? How so?"
"I've been getting odd looks from the workers here. I thought they were discussing something crucial in the morning, but not when they repeated the same thing they did in the morning this afternoon."
I really can't help but feel like there's something that's happening, one I know absolutely nothing about.
"Leave them be. It's just the way they behave most time. BB might have told them something spooky this morning." Dozzy gives my fears a dismissive wave, "don't think much about this. Tomorrow, they Will undoubtedly return to their normal selves."
"I hope so."
Should they continue with the odd looks they are giving me, there's no telling what I might do tomorrow?
"You don't need to worry about them. It's a kind of phase that's likely going to pass in a day or two times."

I had some work done after I returned to the office.
Having already decided not to go down until I'm certain the workers have all left, I decided to have a little rest before I head up to the boss's office for our daily after-work project.
"Osy!" Dozzy ran into my office like one who's been chased by demons.
"What's wrong?" I almost leapt out of my chair at the sound of my name. My heart which had returned to its Normal beating picked up the pace.
"Have you logged in to the workers' website today?"
"No, I haven't. I don't see any reason why I need to log in to a website BB converted into a gossipers zone."
" You need to log in to the website. I think you have to see this."
"What's it?" I raise a brow at him.
"You must see this." He said in an urgent tone, "This should be the exact reason why the workers have been giving you odd looks."
" Tell me then," I sit back on my chair. "I don't think I need to waste my time checking it out."
Truth be told, I want to avoid having anything to do with the gossiping website.
"You need to see this by yourself. Log into the system."
"But---"
"There's no time to waste on unnecessary questions. You have to see this."
The way he said it, and the expression he had on his face, made me reluctantly decide to log in to the server.
I inputted the password and scrolled to the recent feed.
"Should----" The words I was about to speak got frozen in my throat. My hand hovering over the mouse seems to stop.
It felt as if time has stopped.
"Osy?" Dozzy called out to me, but I didn't answer him, as I had my eyes glued to the screen in front of me.
"No, this isn't possible." I frantically shook my head as I denied the picture in front of me.
" This isn't me. This can never be me!" I felt like tugging my hair out in frustration as I viewed the photos.
Each is much more explicit than the former.
"Calm down Osy," Dozzy placed his hand on my shoulder.
" Tell me this isn't real." I plead as I tried to make out the pictures in front of me. I racked my brain as I attempted to think about the possibility of someone taking these pictures of me without me being aware of it.
Not only are there numerous nudes of me, but I can't think of when I got into those poses I saw. No way could I have been the same person in those pictures?
"It is. According to the time shown on the desktop, these images were uploaded early this morning before any of the workers logged in to the site."
" No!!!" I screamed.
" Calm down, "Dozzy tried to calm me down, but I'm far from being rational.
" No!"
I shout out my frustration to the universe.
"It's going to be okay. You have nothing to worry about Osy, it's---"
"Tell me Dozzy, how's it going to be alright?"
I see no way for things to return either back to Normal or skyrocket to a time when these photos have long been forgotten.
"It's going to be alright. I'll help you bring down the pictures from the office server, and from there, we can think of our next plan of action."
"They were all looking at me as I walked past them. Who knew what they were thinking as they watched me?"
They might have been calling me a slut in their mind as they watched me go about my normal daily routine without feeling remorse.
"Take that thought out of your mind, Osy. You don't have to worry about them."
