Capítulo 230: Ch 17 - Awakening
Zhou Weiqing was going insane from the effect of the Nucleus Core, on the verge of losing control.
However, at this moment, the space distorted in front of him, and a person appeared out of nowhere.
Jason looked at his condition and sighed. He waved his hand and instantly a golden light exploded from his palm, falling on Zhou Weiqing's body.
Just as the golden light came in contact with Zhou Weiqing's body, he instantly trembled and the pain subsided to a large margin.
His bloodshot eyes slowly calmed down and he regained consciousness, staring at Jason with a shocked expression.
"H-How did you..." He spat out with difficulty as his muscles were sore.
Jason continued and said. "Don't talk, let me first help you bring this power under control!"
The tiger tattoos that were dancing over Weiqing's body slowly subsided and seeped into his skin. The cold energy that filled his meridians also retreated back to his dantian.
Finally, after five minutes, Zhou Weiqing returned back to his original state and slowly rose up to his feet.
Jason touched his forehead and exclaimed. "It's not the time to waste. Come on and cultivate according to this method. Since you've already taken the first step, it will be a waste to stop now."
Zhou Weiqing also realized the seriousness and immediately sat down in the lotus position with Jason sitting back behind him, his hand placed on his back as he channeled the pure Heavenly Energy into his body, helping him guide it to the right path.
Zhou Weiqing didn't dare to be negligent and instantly chanted the technique, guiding Heavenly Energy into his meridians into a mysterious cycle. His meridians expanded in response to it and the flow of energy intensified.
Slowly the speed of circulation increased and he felt his cells awakening, feeling a refreshed feeling washing over him.
But it was soon followed by the icy cold energy from before but unlike the previous time, it seemed to be under control, not harming him at all. On the contrary, it was actually melding into pure heavenly energy, strengthening his body as his figure expanded a little.
Zhou Weiqing could feel his muscles full of newly found strength and a new world opened in front of his eyes. An intense feeling of pleasure exploded into his body as two orbs floated out from the acupoints at the back of his hands, hovering in the air.
On Zhou Weiqing's right wrist was a white pearl, glittering and translucent, as if it were an ice crystal. There were no impurities at all, it was the pure jade of a Heavenly Jewel Master which gave him a pure strength boost.
On his left wrist, was a strange and unique jewel. It was dark blue with very unique markings on the Jewel, markings that seemed to be like a narrow cat's eye. There was a bright marking at the top that was glowing in white and seemed to move along when Zhou Weiqing moved his wrists, always ensuring that the white marking was always facing the top.
"You little rascal sure knows how to worry someone. Didn't I tell you to not pull a stunt like that?"
While Zhou Weiqing was having his moment, Jason's facial muscles twitched in anger and he slammed a fist on his head, shouting.
*Bam*
"Ouch!" Zhou Weiiqng quickly covered his head, feeling pain. "I'm sorry!"
Jason raised his hand to hit him again but put it down in the end. "Forget it. So, now you're a Heavenly Jewel Master."
Zhou Weiqing quickly realized the implications and looked down at his wrists. As soon as he did so, he cackled out loudly like an insane person.
"Haha! Wahahaha! Heavenly Jewel! I finally have Heavenly Jewels, I'm a Heavenly Jewel Master! Wahaha, now who can say I'm a trash!!" This bout of insane laughter caused him to almost spit out saliva all around. Years of repressed feelings were suddenly released, and he couldn't help but to express the sheer joy he was feeling.
*Bam!*
"Shut up! Do you want to wake up the entire capital?" Jason hit him again and signaled him to calm down. If not for him already prepared, forming a barrier around his room, his voice might have attracted his mother and the servants.
Jason sighed and continued with a serious expression. "Kid, hurry up, kneel down and kowtow to me, beg me to accept you as my disciple!"
"Ahh?" Zhou Weiqing was caught by surprise. He thought the other party was only here to help but now he wanted him to become his disciple.
Jason looked at his expression and humped coldly. "What? Are you still not satisfied? Let me tell you brat, even if people wished for it they can never have this chance and yet you're wasting time like this. I'm not that much patient, okay?"
"N-No, it's nothing like that." Zhou Weiqing jumped in surprise at Jason's change of expression and quickly kowtowed.
"Senior Nie Li, please accept me as your disciple!"
That expression is so sincere and earnest!
"Good. Now before I begin your training, you've to give take three oaths, and that you've to swear upon your Heavenly Jewels!" Jason nodded in satisfaction and said.
"What types of oaths?" Zhou Weiqinf gulped down nervously and asked.
Jason raised his finger and spoke with a solemn expression. "First and foremost, you must swear that you will always be loyal to Heavenly Bow Empire, no matter what level you reach in the future, you will always be part of Heavenly Bow Empire. If you can't even be loyal to your homeland then you can never be loyal to anyone."
Zhou Weiqing immediately nodded his head and made the oath. After all, he had already made a similar oath a few years back in front of his father and King Di Lingfeng, and he didn't mind doing it again.
"Second, you will never betray me. If you've any dissatisfaction then you will come to me directly. Also, aside from me and your father, you're not allowed to show your element jewel to anyone not even your godfather!"
"Ah? Not allowed to use my powers? Then why am I training for?" Zhou Weiqing asked in puzzlement.
Jason face-palmed and explained exasperatedly. "You fool, you possess the legendary Alexandrite Cat's Eye. Only a Heavenly Jewel Master that has 4 or more elements can have it. Before reaching at least 8 jewels, you must never reveal them or your life will be in danger. Even though I'll protect you but still precaution is better than a cure!"
"Ah? Then I'll listen to Master." As he said that, he quickly made the oath.
Jason nodded his head and continued. "Lastly, whatever happens, you'll never use your strength to bully the weak and innocent! If I ever find you committing a crime, then I'll personally cripple you and might even kill you!"
Zhou Weiqing shuddered when he saw his eyes filled with killing intent, realizing that he wasn't just teasing him but might even fulfill his words.
So, he raised his hand and quickly made an oath.
