Capítulo 48: Chapter 48 : Dinner Invitation

Alex told me everything, from how Alex became concerned after knowing it was me who Victoria was talking about, how she told him that there would be a disciplinary committee meeting held for me, and how she contacted him abruptly after sensing that the meeting would be hard to win without his help.

I faintly remembered how Victoria fiddled with her phone during the meeting. Despite knowing it was rude to take out a phone in that situation, I didn't think about it that much since I focused more on observing the situation. Did she contact Alex then?

"I see," I said as I nodded my head after Alex had finished his explanation. After he told me that, it was very clear to me that Alex wasn't lying when he said he was only concerned about me, and not because he felt uncomfortable around me. I said I didn't care, but why did I feel so relieved upon hearing that?
