Haylee and everyone else sat on the ground, ready to hear what Michael had to say. That book he had in his hands was what the Keepers longed for. It really had to have something important in it, if they were so afraid of him having it in his hands. That book was the only weapon they had. Unfortunately it had to be decrypted. It wasn't that simple. Some spells were clear and Michael had even managed to use them. Like what made that old house invisible to the Keepers. Others were written in an alphabet unknown to Michael, and to his granddaughter. «It's the language of the Keepers.» Luna said. «But that doesn't mean we can all decipher it.»

«Only a few Keepers know it.» Amy explained. «Only the first Keepers, those who were once spirits, are able to read it. We only know that of mortals, as we were born and raised in this city with you.»
