First light hit the pavement like a flash of bright yellow as the sun directly peeked from the building-infested horizon. The once-empty streets of Tokyo were now bustling with life, and the usual business filled the scene with passers-by strolling through to start their days.
Otomi Elimine just had a good night's rest, and it was the best compared to the past few months wherein she was too busy keeping the streets of Tokyo in check. With the air condition directed at her, and the warm blanket wrapped around her like a burrito, she fell asleep like a log— an uninterrupted and deep slumber that only ended when the first rays of sun pierced through the gap of the window curtains.
