Calamity shook her head and asked in a low voice: "Three years ago, did you already know that I was not Deanna?"

Simon was silent for a moment and said, "Only after you died, I was completely sure that you were not Deanna." He told her what happened after her death, including Archbishop Joseph saying she was a woman from a different world.

Calamity was surprised. "You mean, even the King and the Queen knew that I was not Deanna?"

"That's right!" Simon said, "When Deanna died, you probably didn't know that her soul went to say goodbye to her parents. If it weren't for her farewell, we might not know about you possessing her, and then asked Archbishop Joseph to verify our guess."
