Navaya kept her footsteps quiet as she crept out of the bedroom and into the bathroom to get herself ready for the day ahead. Her body was racked with nerves, her mind racing with so many prospects and the ways the day's events could go against her favor. 

" Relax," She inhaled deeply. " Stop being negative. Think positive. Happy thoughts. Cheerful thoughts. North Draven is only human, not the boogie man from your nightmares." She chanted to herself, dawning a soft grey bathrobe on her slightly trembling body. 

She didn't want to fuck up. Fucking up would mean disappointing Becca and the last thing she wanted to do was disappoint her best friend. She slowly approached the mirror where she stared obsessively at the visible dark circles under her eyes.
