Capítulo 1: The Man Who Once Was

The boy was known throughout his town for his unnatural amount of kindness and willingness to help everyone who deserved and needed it.
An orphan with a trust fund in his name set up by his parents before they died when he was 6, he worked in a cafe the same week he turned 16, although he was friends with almost everyone no one but a select few knew how much he loved to watch anime, the ones that did would watch with him as they had discovered when he was listening to anime Ops.
One day when he was going back home from work he was waiting to cross the street when Carla his sister, dropped her ball that rolled all the way to the middle of the street and before he could stop her she ran after it, looking towards the street he saw a speeding truck barreling down the street.
Knowing that she was unfocused towards the street, he made a made dash towards her to get her out of the way, but the truck was too fast and too close, so there was only one option.
And so, with a steely determination in his ey, s he pushed her out of the trucks path to get struck himself.
His lifeless body was flung across the street as when the truck hit him, he broke his neck on collision.
May 4th, 2021
That was the day that James Williams died.
