Capítulo 16: Hospital
Trigger, a drug that gives the user an improvement on their quirk but makes them lose some rationality, it depends mostly on the user, but no matter what, the side effect is always there.
Now imagine that you are enjoying your day and suddenly a bee injects you with such a drug, and not only you but also others around you. People eating outside a restaurant, playing in the park, or just taking a walk, they all became victims but also aggressors unconditionally, in just a matter of seconds, streets and buildings were being destroyed either by people who couldn't control their power or by others who couldn't even think properly.
There were those who witnessed the events and decided to avoid getting involved, some just froze in place, and others just recorded what was happening...
Fortunately, there was someone who acted fast and called for heroes as soon as the incident happened. That someone was Detective Tsukauchi, he was following an individual who happened to be involved in one of the Sudden Villain cases.
It didn't take long as it seemed that the heroes were ready this time, in a few moments. "A BUNCH OF HEROES ARE COMING!!" Someone finally noticed them and called out for everyone to look at the heroes.
But soon after as that someone shouted, people's attention was caught instead by a strange individual who was capturing or killing the bees that were trying to sting people, he moved too fast for the people to see him properly, all they could say was that he was like a ninja with some bandages and white hair.
But it was only for a moment though, he disappeared along with the bees when the heroes came into the scene.
There were many top heroes at the scene.
Endeavor didn't have to use his quirk directly, he just added some power to his punches. Best Jeanist just controlled his and others clothing fibers to restrain the Sudden Villains, Ingenium would take down anyone with great speed before they could react, Midnight just exposed some of her skin to make others sleep with her aroma. Eraserhead used his quirk to nullify the quirks of the most troublesome people. And the last hero to make an appearance was All Might, who took down the ones with bodies too big to be restrained or the ones who couldn't be approached normally by just using his shockwaves.
All the victims of the Trigger drug were taken down rather quickly, All Might who came last was the first to leave the scene, there were some heroes who waited for the police to come and take away the people.
Once the police arrived, they started to put restraints on the victims. Between all the cops there was Tsukauchi, asking the witnesses about the incident.
Eraserhead was also there on the lookout for any suspicious movement from the people injected with Trigger.
Once most of them were taken into custody he was called by someone.
"Yo! Eraserhead, have you not found a proper base yet?" Present Mic approached Eraserhead along with Midnight following from behind.
Aizawa was about to turn to Yamada (Mic.) but he noticed something on the ground, the weights that Shiro always wears… The worst possibility came to mind. Yamada and Kayama (Midnight) obviously noticed the change in Aizawa. They both saw him take out some kind of GPS which had a red light blinking on its side.
'What did I tell him!' He thought with an irritated expression.
He headed to Tsukauchi who also had a gloomy expression. "We need to move right now." He said as he showed the location of Shiro moving out of the area which was why the GPS had a blinking red light.
Tsukauchi didn't even question him, the Sudden Villains that appeared because of bees, some witnesses talking about a ninja with white hair following them… It didn't take him more than a second to understand what happened.
"Wait wait wait!, you are gonna need all the help you can, right?" Yamada spoke as Aizawa was getting in the police car along with Tsukauchi.
'If that kid went chasing the bees then he might be led into a trap-' Aizawa's thoughts were interrupted by the GPS vibrating meaning that Shiro was actually requesting help… "Get in already!" He called.
Aizawa had to make sure to be ready for the worst so he called an ambulance at the place where Shiro stopped moving…
Kayama and Yamada were curious about why their friend was this irritated, it was normal for him to be bored or annoyed but now it was definitely different. They were both pro-heroes so they would do their job first and ask their questions later.

[10 Minutes Later]
Aizawa stopped getting the signal from the electric tagging, but that happened just 1min ago so he told the officer to keep going to the same place, Tsukauchi was checking if the ambulance would come in time.
Once they got to the neighborhood where Shiro's signal was lost, they saw blood splattered on the concrete of the street which also had many holes on it. It was obvious a bloody battle took place there, the trail destruction followed through a hole in a building.
Everyone got out of the car to take a look.
Aizawa wasn't irritated anymore, he was rather worried as he noticed some bandages like his were lying on the ground almost completely ripped apart, he picked up the ones that were still usable.
One could see that something went through the building and it ended in another one, Tsukauchi and the other officer took pictures while the heroes explored the buildings in full alert, ready for anything unexpected.
After going through some of the destroyed buildings, they found a skinny man on the ground and a big one in a crater inside a half-crumbled building right after, both of them were unconscious. The officer checked their condition and then he restrained them as Tsukauchi reviewed the villains registry list just in case, he confirmed that they were villains on the run and that they belonged to a group of villains but the group was dismantled after a confrontation with a hero weeks ago, only the boss along with his right and left hand had escaped them many times.
Now with the confirmation of real villains being involved, Tsukauchi called for more backup just in case… although he realized that it wasn't needed as he came to the sight of a huge hole that goes through 2 buildings, at the end, he could see 3 people, 2 on the ground and the last one was approaching them with a knife on their hand.
Aizawa ran towards them without making any noise and taking out his hidden knife but the third person seemed to notice him. "TCH! Lucky brat." the mysterious person said in a feminine voice and ran towards an alleyway disappearing from everyone's sight.
Aizawa stopped as he saw the suspicious person disappear in a dark alleyway which he had no way to use his quirk and it was too late to use his light now. Kayama came to one of the people lying on the ground, the closest was a kid with white yet bloodied hair laying face up on the concrete. She winced once she saw his state, his hair covering his face, he had cuts all over his body, hands, elbows, legs… he was completely bruised all over, and there was a burn mark on his right side but it wasn't bleeding as it was cauterized.

Aizawa also came to the kid as he obviously recognized him. "..damnit, what did I tell you brat," he said as he crouched down near him, he opened his utility belt and took some disinfectant, oxygenated water, and some bandages for treatment.
"...that a hero must solve things by any means as long as it lowers casualties…" The kid responded, his hair covered his face but not his smirk… Aizawa's face visibly twitched at that response, "You are not a hero yet and you might not get to be one if you keep getting caught in these situations." He reprimanded the kid.
"...Right, I'll be careful to not get caught then. Hehe*cough* eh *cough*... hurts to laugh…"
"If you can be a smartass then you must be able to stand, RIGHT?" Aizawa said and he suddenly tightened the bandages to make sure that he stopped the occasional bleeding.
"Maybe not anymore…" The kid said with a slight wince on his face...
While Aizawa was "talking" to the kid, Kayama watched over them just in case of an unexpected attack. Tsukauchi and the officer were taking the evidence and also restraining the last villain while Yamada helped them out by doing the same as Kayama. When they finished they saw Aizawa talking to the kid… Well, more like he was berating him. Although Kayama was watching over them, she couldn't help but be amused at their talk, she could get many ideas of what was going on. Why was her friend so irritated but then got worried when they arrived...

< Shiro Takeshi (MC) POV >
"Ow ow ow ow." I complained as Aizawa helped me to stand up. I was just holding up by controlling my muscles to keep my bones in place which was a bit more painful than I had thought, but I still managed to stand up.
I was bandaged and had the smell of disinfectant all over my body…. "Here." he said as he handed me what's left of my bandages…
'Guess that girl who wanted to finish me off also took the bees I had captured… from what I could sense from her, she had a weird parasite inside her eye socket, kind of disgusting…' I thought to myself as I wore the bandages just like Aizawa… it really became hard to ignore the stare from Midnight when I did that.
Seeing one of the heroes from my studies in person was different from what I thought, although I knew it was impossible for her to be normal, after all, she did wear a super revealing costume that even the Hero Safety Public Commission had to put up a regulation law for hero costumes because of her.

I saw that Tsukauchi was coming along with the others. Present Mic came first and when he saw me and Aizawa he started to whisper at Midnight… although they seemed to whisper just loud enough for both of us to hear.
"Look, they really look the same but also the opposite." President Mic commented about our resemblance as he leaned to Midnight while covering his mouth with one hand.
We both wore black clothes, bandages, and even had shoulder-length hair. The only difference was that I wasn't wearing a jumpsuit, had the opposite hair color, and lacked the utility belt that Aizawa had.
"I know, I didn't think that he would take a student this early, fufufufu" Midnight spoke with a smile from ear to ear and did a weird laugh.
Aizawa was visibly annoyed at their comments, he did teach me about hero stuff and I did also teach him about breathing technique… With smirk on my face I spoke "Well, I am technically the one who teach-hmm...ghnnk!!" My mouth was covered by Aizawa's bandages, I looked at him and he in turn looked at me, with a damn straight face he said, "You are too injured to talk."
Present Mic was chuckling while Midnight started to fidget in place looking at me with a gaze that made me feel even more uncomfortable. So much that I actually wanted to avoid her gaze, which is an achievement for her. I can ignore any weird gazes I get without problems when I go outside, but her stare… it was so weird.
So I just hid behind Aizawa… Which apparently was a bad decision as she just-
"KYA!!!" She screamed and did a dramatic pose by putting the back of her hand on her forehead while extending the other one to the sky, then she arcked backward… She had incredible balance because somehow she wasn't falling in such a position. Present Mic took a picture of both of us...
Aizawa was just face palming at their display.
Present Mic and Midnight started to whisper between them again, although this time it was lower, I'm sure that Aizawa couldn't hear but I could.
"It's gonna be easier than we thought, but he still needs a push, so the plan will still be the same. I will become a teacher at U.A first, ok?" Midnight whispered, Present Mic nodded and just took a glance at me.
Tsukauchi approached us as he saw that the 2 pro-heroes were just talking between them now, "Umm…" He looked at me and glanced around with a bit of an awkward expression, 'I guess that he wasn't expecting this much of a mess on the streets.'
"So… you will be interrogated, again… But you will be treated first of course." He finally spoke with a helpless tone. "Oh right! I forgot about that." I might end up just living at the station too.
".... RIGHT! Here, some got mushed to a pulp because of the fight but there is one that isn't that messed up!" I exclaimed while searching my pockets, I still had the bottle with bees in it but it was obviously affected because of the fight.
Tsukauchi was shocked, with a complicated expression he accepted the evidence.
And soon enough, I heard some ambulances coming to our location.

[1 Hour Later]
I was taken to a room in the hospital and given basic treatment for my cuts and bruises.
"You sure you don't need casts for your arms and legs?" Aizawa asked since getting X- Rays wasn't a good thing to do in this hospital, he had no control of how my information could be spread in this place so we had to deny those checkups. But this was definitely one of the best hospitals around here.
"Nah, I'm fine, I know my body the best," I said as I laid back on my bed. At my nonchalant response, he just helplessly sighed. "Detective Tsukauchi said that someone will come tomorrow and heal you." After a bit of silence, he looked at me and continued.
"And at this point, your parents will definitely know what has happened up to now, at least when they come here."
"...Right… at least I want to surprise them, is that a bit too much to ask?"
"If that's what you want, then they can be led here while being told that they can help with a special case, which it's technically the truth, but they might discover it soon anyway."
"Can I be healed enough until then? I know how my body recovers super fast, but it might take me at least 2 entire weeks, I think. Can that certain someone heal me that fast?" I said as I was a bit worried about meeting them like I'm now, I don't want to meet my parents only to give them a heart attack when they see my injuries.
"She can, her quirk is made for this, aside from that, you will definitely be healed in a day or two since you have ridiculous stamina."
This piqued my interest, but I decided to just wait for the person in question.

[Next Day]
I actually slept this time and woke up in the early morning. A very polite nurse brought me my food. One could say that the food was actually good, must be because it really was a good hospital like Aizawa said.
In my past life, the food in these places was bad, there were a few times that I ran away to eat some actual food… I did get a good scolding from Big Sis but I always thought that it was worth it.
Meat, potatoes, soup, vegetables, and some nice pudding… even if it looked kind of bland, the taste was totally contrary, or maybe it's just my low standards for things at play again.
'I was supposed to get questioned after getting treatment… so I will be interrogated here?'
After finishing my meal, I just contemplated something… 'Can't I accelerate my metabolism and heal faster?'
The feeling that I got at the last moment during my fight with the villains gave me that idea, the feeling of being burning alive but not feeling pain… I know that it had something to do with somehow overheating my body and working like a motor going overdrive or something. I know that it used some of my stamina plus it strained my body but it also has more than that, it's a bit complicated.
But controlling my metabolism is something I should work on, I will leave that for later though. I will take a little break, I won't be using Imagination Training for now.
The nurse was nice enough to bring me candies too, or maybe she just had pity as I was completely bandaged from the neck down. Anyway, after putting a lolipop in my mouth I stood up and looked outside through the window. I was at least on the 9th floor I think. I was suppressing my Spiritual Sense to only be conscious of my body's state all the time like the first time I awakened it, people come here to visit their loved ones, I wasn't gonna spy on them.
There was a park outside so the view was nice, there were kids playing catch, they used their quirk but it wasn't anything dangerous. Seems like the police won't arrest you if you have an inoffensive quirk.
If your quirk was just to freeze things in place after touching them and you freeze your food in the air because you have nowhere to put it while you tie your shoe, you won't be taken to court or something, just a little glance from an officer maybe but nothing out of hand.
While I was watching the kids playing, I felt a gentle gaze on me, I turned around and saw a middle-aged woman with white hair and dark eyes. With a soft smile, she waved her hand at me in a friendly manner as we were too far apart to talk. At that moment, I turned my head towards the entrance of my room, I could feel and hear people gathering at the door. I looked back at the woman and waved back as I closed the window.

Author: I hope that Present Mic and Midnight didn't come out too silly, it's just that although they are Pro heroes and take their job seriously while also having tons of experience, but those two are just really humorous and I like them because of that.
