Capítulo 25: Noble Phantasm Creation I
Looking at his own status, Jun could almost laugh with satisfaction, even top cadres like Azazel and Barakiel had to take him seriously now but he held no illusions.
A Devil King class opponent could easily blow up a country at full power and they were far from the most powerful beings in this world while in the Nasuverse, even more overpowered beings were laying hidden in various places, times and ages.
A Super Devil like Sirzechs could easily kill him, and for the likes of Ophis and Great Red, he was little more than a bug they could squash with the slightest exertion of their seemingly endless power.
Still, with his current abilities, Jun could interfere in many more events, both in DxD and the Nasuverse and, even without a Servant, he could challenge the Holy Grail Wars there and try to get the artifact which was a necessity for his plans of further strengthening.
Right now, Jun had reached his limits and his raw power would no longer increase. He could refine his martial skills and magecraft to higher levels but his raw parameters had hit their ceiling and the integration of the Factor of the Dragon had grinded to halt.
Ahsaka, ever helpful, explained these were the limits of his current vessel and, to take the final step and become a True Dragon, Jun needed to expand it.
In other words, he needed the means to forge a True Dragon Body in other to restart the process of integration. It would still be a gradual change that would take time but a starter was now needed. Jun planned to use the Greater Grail as this starter.
Not only that though, it had far more uses. It could for one help with the development of his currently quite pathetic Reality Marble for example but, more importantly, it could allow Jun to use Heaven's Feel to materialize and Immortalize his own soul.
This was something of utmost importance since it was a prerequisite for him to finally unseal the first level of his Scion of the Void Skill.
But there were still things Jun could do to increase his power and that was crafting Noble Phantasms for himself using his skills trained in the last two years and all the treasures he had acquired.
Speaking of that, the world was still in a ruckus over that incident, despite nearly two whole years having passed and Azazel, being as smart as he was, periodically gave Jun a few suspicious looks but ended up not saying a thing.
With all of his newly learned, upgraded and modified magecrafts, Jun had not only built himself and extremely strong foundation as a magus and acquired the skills necessary to create the Noble Phantasms he desired, with the help of the Akashic Converter of course, he had also gained something else.
The ability to make one badass workshop. His Kuoh workshop, despite visually looking the same on the outside was now utterly different.
It was isolated from normal space and time could run faster inside by a factor of ten so long as Jun desired. The interior space was also much larger than what the outside would suggest and numerous underground levels had been created.
Rather than just relying on energy gathered from the surrounding through formations, several Magical Furnaces had been set up to power the entire workshop.
Its defenses were so abnormal even your run of the mill Super Devil, stronger than the original Satans had to think twice before trying to attack it. It was a point of great pride for Jun And Valia was enamored by it as well, asking for his permission to make it her "secret base" as well.
The girl was quite the chunni after all and the idea of having such a base made her blood boil and look at Jun with stars in her eyes swo he just let her, he trusted her enough for her not to betray him and besides, its not like there weren't safeguards for such an event.
Beyond that, Jun had even create his own original magecraft that took inspiration from the concept of Laplace's Demon and the LAPLACE System made by Atlas based on it as well, to take advantage of his massive mental processing in a more precise way.
Now, he could efficiently pour all of his resources into a single task for maximum efficiency. It was future sight that showed the path to victory during battles and the guide to success when performing any other miscellaneous task.
At this very moment, Jun was alone in his workshop with time accelerated so that his task could be done in the shortest amount of "outside time" possible. He had warned Valia not to interrupt him unless something on the level of the world cracking in half occurred so he was all set.
It was time to start creating Noble Phantasms, two of them to be precise. An item type and an independant familiar type.
One had already been created by using his basic knowledge and skill with Reality Marbles along with his natural power and potential to create one within himself, his own imaginary land that symbolized his true power and self. But it was just an egg for now.
As for what would be born of that egg, it would certainly be something with limitless potential but what exactly, the remained to be seen, for now though, there were other Noble Phantasms to create.
The first one was the one that required all the treasures he stole. To determine its nature and path of development to follow, a fitting True Name was necessary.
Names carried weight, specially when the Akashic Converter than used the power of the Root of Akasha itself was the main driving force of the creation.
"Your True Name will be . . . Phantasmal Origin: The First Illusion of Myriad Myths . . ."
'A fitting name for your intention.' Ahsaka commented.
'The first noble phantasm to be born directly from the Root of Akasha with components, legends and abilities from multiple different origins, all becoming one single illusion of the Origin.'
'Considering some of the names of came up with for your experiments, I did not expect such a worthy name.' Ahsaka.
'Now that's hurtful. And those names were half assed because they could be without affecting the final product, this time it's different.' Jun responded.
'If you say so." Ahsaka replied in her usual monotone but Jun could sense sass.
'I'm rubbing off on her in a bad way.' He thought to himself, fully realizing his fault in the matter.
But now it was time for seriousness.
The final product would be a collection of treasures that would be a single Noble Phantasm. Just like Karna's Armor and Earing which were part of the same Noble Phantasm.
But Jun was planning on taking this concept to a whole other level. It's true form, would be a devourer of myths that took treasures and legend, converting them into more power and abilities for itself, resulting in various items and abilities that were all part of a unique Noble Phantasm whose growth potential was technically limitless so long as Jun himself was handle to handle it.
Its first "form" and true power, released with its True Name was more of a concept rather than an actual tool so it had no actual form. The reason Jun could make something like this was because he already had enough food to stabilize this conceptual Noble Phantasm.
Now, he had to guide it in the creation of its first few pieces carefully while it would all be much smoother and automatic in the future once the Phantasmal Origina was fully formed.
Excalibur became the base of the first piece, simply because of its many abilities and the power to change shape. As a piece of the Phantasmal Origin, its role would be that of the ultimate weapon.
First Excalibur was infused with the records and power of its Nasuverse counterpart, all treasures would first be treated this way before being added in.
Then its individual abilities were changed to fit the treasures he was planning on fusing with it and be more Nasuverse compatible since all of Jun's abilities were based on the Nasuverse system.
The DxD had Seven components, seven abilities and each of them would become the foundation for it to accept other treasures, Excalibur Mimic being the main reason as the ability to freely change shape.
Excalibur Destruction became the vessel receiving the Nasuverse records of the Holy Sword's peerless power that gathered the light of the world into a strike capable of destroying anything. The ability to amplify the user's magical energy to create a powerful attack as destructive light.
It also symbolized the piece's ability as a weapon of destruction and would serve as the vessel for the destructive power of the other implemented Treasures.
Excalibur Mimic was the main vessel, in exchange for loosing its ability to change its form into anything the user wished, it became able to take a select few forms to better exhibit the power of other included treasures.
Excalibur Rapidly which enhanced the user's speed became a simple ability to add a + modifier to the user's Agility parameter.
Excalibur Nightmare was stripped of its ability to create illusions and manipulate dreams to be converted into the ability to strike at things that did not possess a physical body or even concepts without a physical representation.
It was a powerful ability but one needing the support of other treasures to be truly actualized since the original potential of that piece of the DxD Excalibur was just not enough.
Excalibur Transparency, rather than making the user and blade invisible, became a representation of Nasuverse's Invisible Air but a more powerful and wide ranging version that could cover not only the sword but also the user and even grant the ability to manipulate the Air in general.
Excalibur Blessing became an anti evil boost, a modifier that intensified the ability to affect being with the evil alignment and enhance holy rituals and sacraments. It also served as a vessel for future modifiers of the same time such as an anti Dragon modifier or anti Oni modifier for example.
Excalibur Ruler, the power of the piece as a symbol of authority and rulership. Rather than allow one to control others as in DxD it instead permanently enhanced the Charisma Skill. It also allows one to empower one's subordinates in battle with various blessings based on the weapon's abilities.
Now though, it was time time to start introducing other treasures into the mix . . .
