"As much as I hate Madam Clark, I can't disagree with how she valued Blair's existence. It's just unfortunate that Blair would always be a threat to the Aldric Family, especially after he found out that Hugo was his son."
Lucas nodded in agreement, his expression solemn. "You're right, sir."
Yves shifted his gaze to the distant horizon, the weight of recent events pressing heavily on his shoulders.
"So… did you find out who will inherit the positions of Grand Viceroy and Commander now that they are vacant?" he asked, curiosity tinged with concern.
Lucas shook his head slowly. "Mr. Clyde said they plan to leave the two positions vacant for the time being."
"I see," Yves replied, his tone contemplative.
Not long after, a guard beside Lucas leaned closer and whispered something to him. Lucas then forwarded the report he had just received to Yves.
"Vincent has obtained the poison you requested," he said quietly.
