The staff was slightly taken aback when she saw Clyde's confused frown. She didn't think that the main special guests weren't informed about the handkerchiefs.
Just as she was about to explain it to him, however, Vincent had leaned closer and said in a slightly lower voice, "Sir, pardon me for not informing you about this. The guests usually throw a wad of cash to the dancers, but the bar has replaced the method tonight, so you only need to purchase the handkerchiefs and give it to your favorite dancer later."
His quick explanation was met with slow nods and faint hum from both Clyde and Ryder.
Alas, the two of them squirmed in their seats after they awkwardly ran into each other's gazes instead, as if not sure if they really wanted to buy the handkerchiefs.
They might not have said it out loud, but they clearly understood what the look on their faces meant.
