Ryley scoffed for the umpteenth time, his sharp gaze shifted towards the seven horses painting on the wall.
"Do you think I want to waste twelve million just to pay some arsonists to burn the forest and bribe the housing security to make up a story about the CCTV being broken or under maintenance during the forest fire? Don't make me laugh."
He walked closer, then continued muttering with his wisdom-filled eyes closely admiring the painting, "Do you still remember Romer Walden?"
Lucas was pretty taken aback when Ryley suddenly talked about that person. "Is there something wrong, Sir?"
"Of course. There are many things wrong with his unsolved death." Ryley replied, "What I'm worried about is, Clyde doesn't even know nor care about this case. Romer Walden had a history of enmities with Vincent, and from the little details we've acquired last time, I'm sure it's related to illicit money in the company."
