"I'm sorry I didn't have the time to prepare anything to welcome you here." Adam said in a relaxed tone after pressing the floor's button and closed the elevator's doors. Then he continued jokingly, "After all, the New York's supermodel is in the building."

Ryley chuckled shyly and replied, "Ah, Mr. Adam you are too much, I still need to learn a lot..." He heaved a deep breath and added with a friendly smile, "I'm sorry I didn't call you before coming here."

His eyes then accidentally glanced at the number of the floor that Adam pressed earlier.

"The fourth floor?" The blond asked in an even tone though he was feeling a bit odd because whenever he visited this foundation, Adam and the receptionist usually escorted him to the second floor. 

Adam raised his eyebrows in surprise as soon as the question reached his ears, followed by the corner of his lips that twitched nervously.
