Capítulo 65: The World On Fire
The Magic Demon corps is an army of 100,000 powerful demons that can use powerful magic in battle. While not on the same level as the Arcadian Imperial Knights they were still a force to be reckoned with. They were never deployed out of the country due to the need to keep them a secret from the rest of the world, but now that the world was practically getting invaded by aliens they were needed.
Within the war room inside of the Imperial Palace, Jarvis was in a meeting with his advisors, assessing the current world situation.
"This is the current situation," Armorra stated grimly as she pointed out clusters of red markers scattered across continents on the map. "We still have large pockets of resistance in Europe and America, survivors who refuse to bow to the Orcs."
"The French are showing great resistance in Paris," Alena added. "They've staged a guerilla war on the invaders, using their knowledge of the city's complex layout to their advantage. The French Military is still putting up a fight and had begun to regroup their forces." reported Alena.
"Excellent. We must support their efforts," Jarvis said, his gaze never leaving the map. "Is there any way we can aid them?"
Armorra nodded. "We can provide logistical support, supplies, ammunition, medical aid, through the portals. We have the magic users standing by to open them."
"Let's make it happen," Jarvis commanded without hesitation.
In response, Alena gave a swift nod before stepping away to execute the orders.
"The situation is dire in Asia as well," continued Armorra. "China's Great Wall has been breached by the Orc forces coming from the Russian region, our forces are holding off the Orcs in Siberia and we are working alongside our allies, Korea and China to hold them back within the region."
"Moscow, the capital of the Russian Federation had already fallen and it's leadership has been reportedly captured by the Orc Army, with this their military has been thrown into disarray with small pockets of them starting to gather around St. Petersburg, using the city as a makeshift base for them to regroup and mount a counter-offensive," added Alena upon her return.
"What's the situation with India?" Jarvis asked next.
"It's going good for them actually" started Armorra,"They have been able to repel the Orc invasion army from their Capital and is working on kicking them out of their lands, our forces already arrived to help them 3 days ago and so far with have managed to retake the Eastern part of India and are working alongside the other smaller countries in the region to expel the Orcs. At the same time, we have received numerous requests from countries all over the world asking for help. Currently our military is 16 million strong with majority of that number being a part of the Imperial Army and Imperial Marines.
Our infantry is much stronger and has advanced technology that the other countries of the world don't have so we can easily deploy enough soldiers to each continent around the world and help these countries push the invading enemy Orcs back" Reported Armorra. Hearing this information, Jarvis nodded his head and started to organize his forces to begin a worldwide deployment.
"Lara, Ava, I want you to develop a weapon to engage the enemy ships in space, you will have as many resources as possible and space that you need to create something powerful" Ordered Jarvis. Lara and Ava on the other hand had smiled at each other and placed a device on the table.
"You Majesty, this is the current weapon that we have already come up with yesterday. It is a massive Planetary Cannon that will launch ionized projectiles towards enemy ships. Its power is predicted to be able to penetrate the enemy ship based off the data we received from the Orbital station before it was destroyed."
"Excellent work," Jarvis praised, examining the device. "How soon can we deploy it?"
Lara and Ava shared a glance, then Ava responded, "We've already begun production, Your Majesty. The first set of cannons should be ready for testing within a month."
"Good, now we have an invasion to repel so let's get to it" with that the meeting had ended and everybody went to perform their duties.
Jarvis on the other hand was about to take a trip to Africa to help them with their war. The United African Nations (UAN) Alliance was on the verge of collapse, the Ethiopian Capital, Addis Ababa had fallen to the Orc Army alongside the entire Royal family.
Africa was a massive Continent that was behind in terms of technology even with support from the Arcadian Empire. In some places the UAN found success and managed to save a few cities and innocent lives.
But their defenses and Army wouldn't last long and losing the Continent would allow the Orcs to establish a massive stronghold within the Continent and build of their defenses. Jarvis was going to prevent that.
