I was tired, but I wasn't about to let that stop me. It was my wedding night. I don't care that it was morning here, or that it was morning back home. All that mattered to me right now was that I was alone with my husband for the first time since we said our vows. It was time for me and Makai to start our lives as a married couple. From this day forward, it was just going to be us and no one else.

After I took my shower, I lingered in the bathroom. I wanted to make sure that I was dried off and ready to go. Makai, on the other hand, went out to the room and was waiting for me. I just hoped that I didn't take too long getting out there and that he fell asleep or something. I needed to make sure that I had that typical wedding night. We weren't sleeping until the morning after our wedding, so this was serving as that night for us.
