Capítulo 88: Chapter 88: Broken Hearted.
In how the previous chapter, we noticed that Obed's appearance had changed and his hair was now red instead of white. Obed's friends began to attack Obed. Florence then Obed front the front as Obed dodged her attack. Micheal was in position for a slide as Obed moved but Obed has already seen his plan so he triple jumped before he landed. Everyone was shocked by Obed's jump. Florence then used her ability on Obed as Chris also jumped in the air ready to pounce on Obed. Obed then smiled as he used his water ability to form a shield he used his electric ability to electrocute Chris.
"Wait, isn't that Obed," Michael said. "That's what I've been trying to tell you guys but you didn't listen," Obed replied. "What's up with the new hairstyle and color," Michael asked. "Well it's a long story," Obed said. "We want to hear it," Florence said. Obed then gave a big sigh as he explained everything to his friends. When Obed finished, they were amazed by the story he shared. "So in the first place, what are you gonna about your brother," Barns asked. It seems he needs my electric ability. "What's so special about the electric ability?" Angel asked. "With, the electric ability, you have the power to control everything," Obed explained. "Also, it makes you the boss of your family," he continued. "So what happens if you lose the electric ability," Angel asked. Obed then bowed his head in shame and sadness as he said, "I'll have to die." Everyone began to stare at Obed as Florence went straight up to Obed and said, "I don't want you to die, I want you to live so that you be with us." Florence is right Obed, we'll fight with you," Barns said. Obed then smiled and then an announcement was made. "Obed and Florence should meet Miss Pearl in her office right now," the announcer said. "What does she want with us?" Florence asked. "I guess we have to go and find out," Obed said. Obed and Florence left the compound as they entered the school heading for the principal's office.
When they arrived, Obed knocked on the door but the door was left ajar. As soon as Obed and Florence entered the office, the door shut behind them. "Welcome lovers," Miss Pearl said. "Wait, what, lovers, it seems you are been mistaken but we aren't lovers," Florence said. "Isn't that right Obed," Florence asked. Obed was surprised by Florence. "After everything that I've done for you, you still say we aren't lovers," Obed said to himself. "Anyway, the reason why I called you out here is that I hear a rumor spreading that the two of you are planning to get married so I just want to be sure," Miss Pearl asked. Florence then rose from her seat and said to Miss Pearl, "we aren't lovers." Florence then held Obed's hand and said, "what shows that I'll even marry Obed." Obed was shocked by Florence's response and then left her hand. "Obed, what's the matter?" Florence asked. "Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some training to do," Obed said as he stormed out of Miss Pearl's office. Florence got worried as she also got out of Miss Pearl's office. Florence then met Obed on the way and questioned Obed why he was acting weird in Miss Pearl's office.
"I protected you, you needed me in times of help, I love you but you don't love me back," Obed explained. "Obed, I didn't know that will hurt you-," Florence began to explain but was cut by Obed. "I shouldn't have met you in the face place," Obed said. "Goodbye!" Obed said as he left Florence alone.
As Obed was going, Micheal, Barns, Angel, Linda, and Chris met Obed coming alone. "Ummm Obed, where's Florence?" Linda asked. As Obed was about to speak, Linda noticed Florence from afar and then called out Florence's name. Obed then hurriedly entered his room and locked the door to prevent no one from entering. "What's the matter with Obed?" Chris asked. "Well, actually, it's my fault," Florence. "What are you trying to tell us," Angel asked. "Actually-" Florence said as she began to explain everything to her friends.
"Oh no, you've betrayed Obed," Barns said. "It's more like Obed is heartbroken," said Joyce as she came out from nowhere. "Where the hell did you come from Joyce," Michael asked. "Hahaha, just trying to be a ninja," Joyce let out. "With that out of the way, Joyce, is Obed going to calm down," Florence asked. "If I remember correctly, since childhood whenever Obed is angry, it's very hard for him to calm down," Joyce explained. "What do you think I should do Joyce?" Florence asked. "I'm afraid there's nothing you can do to calm his anger, but I must warn you, if you try to continue calming Obed, he'll hurt you," Joyce added. Florence then began to cry as she said, "it's all my fault."
After a while, an announcement was made that all groups should report to the training grounds now. Obed immediately unlocked the door and got out of the room heading towards the training grounds. Florence, Micheal, Angel, Linda, and Joyce followed Obed to the training grounds as Barns said he was heading to his room.
When they arrived, Sir Ben informed them to make their groups ready as they were going for training. Everyone was making their groups ready except for Obed and his group. Florence then called out Obed's name as he was the leader of the group to come. Obed then went to another group as one of their members didn't join due to illness. The group then accepted Obed as he joined their group to partake in training. Everyone was surprised to see Obed join a different group.
Well, well, well, just see what you have caused Florence. If only you had said yes none of this would have happened. Florence then knelt on the ground as she wept in tears but that didn't concern Obed. "Now, the love Obed had for you is now lost," Joyce said.
